Pure Ice Nail Polish Review!

This is another nail polish I don't think I've ever tried before. I was at Walmart looking at the nail polish. I was hoping to find more selections of Sally Hansen's Triple Shine, but they didn't have that line at all = (. So while I was looking, I saw Pure Ice. There were maybe three colors left and only one of each. I saw Wide Awake and had to have it! It's a glitter polish and I normally don't like those, but I walked around with it in my cart for a while trying to decide if I wanted it or not lol. I decided it was too pretty and too cheap not to have in my collection! lol. It's such a pretty glitter blue. And only $1.97! I'm always afraid the glitter polishes can't be worn by themselves because the glitter comes out all spaced out on your nails. This one doesn't do that though! Probably because the glitter pieces are so small, they cover the whole nail and looks really nice. Even after just one coat.

Spoiled Nail Polish Review!

I don't think I've ever used this nail polish before, but I got one for Christmas! I just got a glitter kind though, so I can't really review how a solid color would stand up. I'm sure price wise, this brand is great! The polish isn't too bad, but I don't really care for glitter nail polishes. Only because they usually feel chunky. This one is no exception, it feels kind of chunky on. It's not a bad top coat though. Sally Hansen is still my go to for nail polish. I don't think I've ever used a better nail polish than her stuff! Spoiled isn't bad though if you like the glitter polishes, and who knows, maybe they have good solid colors too!

Eyes Wide Shut Review!

Yes, I realize this movie is from 1999 lol. However, I was about 10 when it came out, so I saw it for the first time last night. It was on a network that doesn't censor, but it does have commercials. So my first thought is "Holy crap this movie is long!" 3.5 hours with commercials. It was also really confusing. I'm usually pretty good at confusing movies, but this one was just weird. I also lost interest, but tried to stick it out. A lot of the parts were basically just porn. Not that I'm a prude, those parts didn't bother me or anything. This movie was given a 3 star rating by critics. I would give it maybe 1 star. Like I said, I lost interest. It got so boring! He does the same thing every single scene! He's walking the streets of New York and goes to the exact same places. The whole movie was supposed to be about him crashing some weird sex party and people were winding up dead that he talked to and got into trouble. It was incredibly stupid in my opinion. Luckily I didn't really have anything going on last night, so I can't say I lost valuable time lol.

Shoes By Curves Review!

I got some belated Christmas presents today! That included these awesome shoes that Curves makes. My mom ordered them through Avon. These are so cute! I'm not sure if they come in other colors, but these are black with a papaya colored strap and papaya colored zig-zags lines on the toes of the shoes. They're insanely comfortable! They seem to have a lot of support too, which is fabulous! She got them for me to use as work shoes, since I work retail I'm on my feet for long periods of time. The shoes I was using are a year old, so they don't quite support my feet the way they used to lol. My dad also got me Sketchers for work shoes! Yay! I might use my Curves ones to wear when I just go out too. She said they were only around $26! Not bad at all!

Organic Peppermint Scrub Review!

For Christmas my mom decided one of her gifts for people would be a peppermint scrub she made herself. I, of course, was a recipient of one! It's absolutely amazing! She made it with crushed up peppermints, sugar, shea butter, and aloe. I used it on my feet in the shower yesterday. It's quite impressive! The sugar washes right off, but the shea butter and aloe stay put and make you so soft! If you're a "make it yourself" kind of person, you should definitely make your own body scrub! It's just amazing!

Sally Hansen Triple Shine Review! Part 3

I'm doing a part 3 because I went to Target today (though I'm slightly afraid to after 40 MILLION people had their credit/debit and red card info stolen!) I used gift cards though (phew!). So I only had  $15 to work with. I wanted more colors of the Sally Hansen Triple Shine. So I got the last one of Slick Black (it's too beautiful not to own!) and the last one of Dive In. I thought Dive In would be too similar to her Mint Sprint in the Insta-Dri family, but it's actually not. They are pretty similar, but in my opinion, Mint Sprint is more green based and Dive In is more blue based. Luckily the ones they were sold out of were the ones I own already! I also snagged a Triple Shine top coat. I like to use her top coats as my base coat. I'm really excited to try all of my new colors! I've only tried two of them so far, but I'm not disappointed at all! The colors are long lasting and vibrant. They really do seem to be even shinier than regular nail polish. It dries very quickly too. You will not be disappointed if you try them! But as I stated before, be aware of the colors you're picking. Some are meant to be strictly glitter polishes, so they're meant to be layered on top of colored nail polish (or alone, if that's what you like). Also some are just very sheer, so be careful when picking. You know what you like, so if you want a sheer color, pick a sheer one! If you want one that's more opaque, then pick a deeper color.

*I get mine at Target for $4.59. I know Walgreens.com has ALL 29 shades! (I'm super tempted to order some online!) Since Target only carries maybe 10 in the store. I'm curious if Walmart carries them in stores, and if so, how many! Drop me a comment if you've found more varieties at other stores!

DearFoams Slipper Review!

Merry Christmas everyone! I got a pair of DearFoams slippers = ). They're leopard print on the outside and hot pink on the inside. They're boot style, so you can fold down the top so you can see both the leopard print and the hot pink. They're so cute! They're also insanely comfortable and warm. If you have the chance to try them, you should! I don't think I've ever had DearFoams before, but I love them now!

Sally Hansen Triple Shine: Sparkling Water Review!

I painted my toe nails with this color last night. I adore it! It's absolutely beautiful! It's a deep green/blue color with pretty sparkles in it. I've seen great reviews for Sally's new Triple Shine. Everyone's favorite part seems to be that you don't need a top or base coat, but as I've stated in previous blogs, I have to use them since nail polish doesn't stay on my nails as easily as most people. I used Flame On before this color and it didn't budge at all. No chipping, no peeling. It stayed on and beautiful the whole time it was on! I was very impressed, especially after a particular week at work when I was doing a lot of moving of boxes and such. To pick them up I put a corner of it on my feet so I can get my hands under lol. My nail polish stayed through everything! I love her new Triple Shine line! If you haven't looked into them yet, you have to!

*I got mine for $4.50 at Target.

Micro-USB 2-in-1 Sync & Charge Review!

The charger that came with my Blackberry is ridiculously short! My outlet is behind my bed and my charger could only reach as far as my pillow! It was so annoying when it would charge and people would text me because I couldn't hold my phone like I normally do! So while I was browsing phone cases on amazon.com, I saw a hot pink charger. I couldn't resist, so I ordered it. The main reason I ordered it? Nope, not because it's hot pink, but because it's 6 FEET LONG! Yes! lol. I can plug my phone in and use it almost anywhere on my bed. Plus, it IS hot pink! It's so adorable! I like it so much, I also ordered it in light blue (I would have ordered the light blue in the first place, but I didn't notice it lol). It comes in white, black, light blue, purple, hot pink, light green, and orange. It fits a ton of different kinds of phones. If you're in need of a longer charger, you have to check out amazon.com!

*And of course since it's a 2-in-1 you can plug your phone into the charger in the wall or your laptop!

Silicone Cases From Amazon Review!

My order finally came yesterday (YAY!!!!). I ordered a gel flex cover, a silicone cover, and a hot pink charger. I put the silicone cover on my phone. It's so cute! It's a cotton candy pink color. I like how flexible it is and how it feels. Plus I love that it's just one piece! Like I stated in my last review, the two piece cases are a pain in the ass! I like this case so much I ordered two more! I ordered orange and hot pink. I would have ordered one of each shade, but they charge separate shipping for each. I don't really understand that at all, but whatever. I also like my 6 foot long hot pink charger so much I ordered it in light blue! The silicone cases are $1.25, then $2.98 for shipping. Which is still super cheap! I can't wait till my other cases come! I might order the yellow colored case in the nearish future, we'll see lol. A girl needs options =).

*Check out which cases are available for your phone here!

Amazon Phone Cases Review!

My mom and I now have the same phone. She got me the Blackberry Curve 9315 for Christmas (which I got early! Yay!). She had it for a few months before I got mine. She ordered three cases from amazon.com. The ones she ordered were rubber. She got pink leopard (that she broke lol), tan leopard, and a cobolt blue color. She gave me the tan leopard. I like the way these cases look and feel, but they are a major pain in the ass! I actually ordered two more cases from amazon (that are on their way to my house as we speak!), but I made sure to get a gel case and a silicone case. These rubber cases are something else! They're two pieces that fit together around your phone. They're so hard to get off I have to use a credit card! Credit cards are best to use if you don't wanna break it like my mom did lol. It seriously takes me at least five minutes to get the freaking thing off to get to my battery or put my memory card in. It's so ridiculous! Don't get me wrong, the case is adorable! But with it being so hard to get off I see myself using the gel and silicone cases way more often!

*I think she got all three cases for about $4 a piece. I got the gel case for $6 and the silicone for $1.25! Amazon.com is for sure the place to shop for phone cases or chargers. The store your phone comes from charges a crazy amount for cases/chargers. You can find people selling them for WAY less! Not to mention the selection is usually bigger.

Yes To Lip Balm: Blueberry Review!

I'm in love with this lip balm! It appears Yes To is phasing out their lip butter line and replacing it with their new lip balms. The blueberry flavor is my favorite! It's so yummy and smells so good! Of course since it's organic, it really takes care of my lips. They feel so smooth and soft, not to mention moisturized! They also have grapefruit and pomegranate. They're good too, but I like the blueberry the best. The pomegranate has natural SPF in it! So it's good for when you're going outside and the sun is shining. Hands down the best lip balm I own!

*I got mine at Target for $2.99, I also stocked up on their website! They're $2.99 online as well.

Yes To Grapefruit CC Cream Review!

I have really been wanting to try this CC cream! But $15.99? I wasn't willing to pay that price for an item I wasn't even sure I'd like. So during Yes To's Cyber Monday deal I ordered one for $2! Now THAT'S a price I'm willing to pay for something I've never tried! I wore it to work today and I love it! It's pretty sheer, but I feel like it covered my flaws. It's also light as a feather! The scent is great too! Smells like grapefruit, mm. Here are some benefits:

  • Provides instant, light coverage with natural pigments.
  • Helps correct skin tone.
  • Increases luminosity and radiance with evodia fruit.
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Protects SPF 18 broad spectrum (and since it's an organic line/product, the SPF is natural!)
  • Moisturizes and keeps skin supple and fresh.
  • Promotes smoother and softer looking skin with grapefruit.
My skin really did feel smooth all day and I didn't get that weird flaking that I get with other foundations (which is SO annoying and gross!). I got it in light, it also comes in light/medium. On their site it says "Think of our light shade as a little hint of... ivory, petals, and honey." The light matched my skin perfectly! I heard other girls saying it was too dark for them. I lucked out! I ordered one in light/medium for my mom for Christmas! I hope it matches her skin well and she loves it like I do!

Ugg Boots Review!

When I saw these on girls before I thought "Oh those are not cute at all!" But for Christmas I got a pair, so I tried them out. Man are they comfortable! They are ugly lol, but I guess they warn you in the name. They're great in the winter, they keep my feet warm and comfortable. These don't even need insoles or anything for extra cushion. So I actually do recommend these! Especially to those who have cold feet or feet that hurt pretty easily. Or just someone who wants comfy boots!

Yes To Carrots Daily Moisture Body Lotion Review!

I know I've done a review on this lotion before, but I wanted to another one. The week of Thanksgiving I was super busy with work (retail). I get eczema on my hands and after working them that hard, my hands were flaking really bad and they hurt. My eczema flared up. Finally I had a day off. After using my lotion only a couple times, I brought them from horrible to beautiful! This lotion really is amazing. I think my skin loves that I use organic, natural products since it seems to drink it right in. It also doesn't irritate my eczema at all. This lotion is amazing, eczema or not. You should check it out!

*You can find it at Target for $9.99 (the yestocarrots website says $12.99, not sure if the price has only gone up there or in stores too...)

Almost Human Review!

So we're only a few episodes into this new series. I think I like it more than I originally thought I would. Usually futuristic stuff can be a little boring for me. This show is really cool though. Our main character is a detective. It's all about cops in the future who have "synthetic" partners. Basically they made robot officers. The idea behind that is to keep the human cops safer. And then of course that's supposed to keep everyone else safer too. Most of the synthetics are really boring, but our main character's partner is called "Dorian". He's a special kind of synthetic. When they made him, they tried to make him as close to a human as possible. So he has feelings and can have a normal conversation with humans. They had actually recalled his version and they were deemed the "crazy" ones. The detective specifically picked Dorian, he really doesn't like the other synthetics. It's a really cool show. If you're into futuristic shows, you should check it out.

*New episodes on Mondays at 8/7c on Fox.

Sally Hansen Triple Shine Review! Part 2

I'm doing a part 2 because I bought 3 more shades. I got Reef-Raf, Sparkling Water, and Wavy Blue! I am half considering buying more colors, but I'm really not sure. Only because a lot of the colors look similar to the Insta-Dri family. I'm currently wearing Flame On. It really is quite shiny! I see where the triple shine name comes in. This one has sparkles in it and they give it an extra kiss of awesome! I think I'm gonna try Sparkling Water next. It's a gorgeous deep green with really pretty sparkles in it. Reef-Raf is a light pink, and Wavy Blue is like a cobalt blue color. That one also has sparkles. Some of them don't have the sparkle (you can check out all the colors here and type in "sally hansen triple shine").

Yes To Carrots Leave-In Conditioner Review!

I've actually been wanting to try this product for a long time! I never saw it in stores and I didn't wanna order it online since it's $8.99 and I had no idea if I would like it or not. For Cyber Monday Yes To had a special deal (that they extended since not everyone got a chance to shop like they promised, yay!). All single products were $2! You could get a max of 2 like items, so if you wanted you could get 2 of everything in their online catalog for $2! Finally! I had my chance to try it! I only ordered 1 and now I wish I would have just gotten 2! I mean what's $4? Even if I didn't like it, I could try 1 and give the other away! I tried it after my shower today and I love love love it! My hair is so soft! My hair is soft on its own usually, but paired with my YTC shampoo and conditioner, and now the leave-in conditioner, I don't think it could be any softer lol. It's made with argon oil, which, of course, provides softening moisture. Keratin, which is a natural protein that helps rebuild, rejuvenate, and restore all hair types. Sea kelp extract, which is rich in zinc, magnesium, and iodine to stimulate hair growth and strength. Of course it also has carrot root and sweet potato extract. 97% natural to boot! It comes in a 6 oz tube and it's a pretty thick consistency, so a little bit goes a long way! I have a feeling it'll last a really long time! Especially since it says to use it 2-3 times a week. I would absolutely pay the $8.99 full price for it in the future!

Sally Hansen Triple Shine: Flame On Review!

I painted my toe nails with this one last night. I really like it! It's a beautiful hot pink with sparkles in it. I used my Sally Hansen Insta-Dri base coat. As I've mentioned before, apparently my nails are oily (they don't feel oily, but they don't hold nail polish the way regular nails do). So I take some extra steps to make sure my polish lasts as long as it can! So after my base coat dried I did 2 coats of Flame On. Such a gorgeous pink! Then topped it off with my Sally Hansen Anti Chip top coat. With the base coat and top coat I can get the polish to stay on my toes for about 2 weeks. If you like pink nail polish colors, you have to check this one out! I got mine at Target for $4.50.

Fanta Review!

I really like this drink! I like how many flavors it comes in! I've tried raspberry, strawberry, grape, orange! So yummy! I think my favorites are the raspberry and strawberry! I did buy the orange flavor today while I was waiting in the check out line at Walmart. I had a bit of a wait lol, I grabbed the last one out of the little cooler thing. I haven't had one in a long time, it's really good though! I would have preferred getting the strawberry, but that's okay lol. It was also less than $2, so I can't really complain!

Delivery Man Review!

I had a movie date last night and got to pick the movie. To be perfectly honest, I'm not really a movie girl, I'm more into TV shows. But I picked Delivery Man. The previews looked funny. I thought it was funny. It also had it's sweet moments too. It's about a guy named David (Vince Vaughn) who works at his fathers meat store. He's one of the delivery drivers. He finds out that during a course of a few years when he donated his sperm at a sperm bank, his sperm was used repeatedly. He made 693 (I think lol) donations and had 533 kids! It really is a good movie. I won't give too much away, but it's worth watching if you were a little curious by the previews.

The Carrie Diaries Review!

This show is the prequel to Sex and the City. I think the concept is really cool. Showing Carrie when she was a teenager. So far in the show the only friend she's met from Sex and the City is Samantha. There are some inaccuracies though that don't really jive with me. The people who came up with this show should have paid closer attention while watching Sex and the City. In the prequel Carrie's mother passes away, she has a little sister, and they're raised by their father. Well on Sex and the City, Carrie says her dad left her and her mom when she was 5, and she never mentions a sister... So clearly they decided not to use the same info (which is stupid, in my opinion). It's very confusing watching it since nothing matches up. In one episode of Sex and the City, Carrie says she loses her virginity when she's in the 11th grade to a boy named Seth Bateman. In the Carrie Diaries, she loses it her senior year to a boy with a different name. I like the show, but I find the inaccuracies very annoying. We haven't seen yet how Carrie meets Charlotte and Miranda. Still waiting for that. Interested to see what other info they get wrong. All in all the show is okay, but I can't say I'm a huge fan. I wish they would have put more effort into paying attention to the details and getting everything correct.

*New episodes on the CW on Friday's at 8/7c.

Britney Spears: Britney Jean Album Review!

I'm so loving this album! I think Alien and Tik Tik Boom are my favorites. I think some of her songs sound like stuff she's done before, but some of them are fresh and have a brand new sound. She said this is her most personal album, I buy that lol. There are some songs that sound like she's baring her soul. Some are good dance/club songs. There are a couple songs I really don't care for. Like the one with her sister, just not my style lol. I checked it out on Youtube. You guys should too if you're part of the Britney Army!

True Life Review!

Oh my goodness, this show has been around FOREVER! For those who haven't seen it, it's a documentary following certain people. Some episodes are, for example, "I'm addicted to pills", "I'm pregnant with twins", "My family hates my boyfriend", etc. So it follows 2-3 people who fall into those categories. It's actually really interesting. You learn a lot. I mean there are so many different people in the world. There was one about people who had sleeping issues. There are ones about people who went blind, or lost limbs in the war, or were in a terrible accident and their lives are forever changed. Some are more on the silly side, like "My family hates my boyfriend", but I still find it entertaining at least lol. The "I'm a sugar baby" episode was pretty interesting too lol. I've always liked this show. They still do new episodes on MTV every now and then. They usually do about 3-4 new episodes in a row on Sundays. But they seem to be really spaced out these days. Sometimes I re-watch old ones if I've forgotten what happens or something. I really like this show. If you're into documentary's you should check it out if you haven't already.

Bath & Body Works: Forever Red VS Forever Midnight Review!

I really liked Forever Red when it came out. It's the sweeter scent I always like. I love sweet scents. This scent has vanilla rum, red osmanthis, and pomegranate. It smells really unique and original in my opinion. Forever Midnight is supposed to be Forever Red's little sister. So supposedly it's for a younger crowd. However, I am a part of the younger crowd and I really don't like Forever Midnight very much at all. I like the individual fragrances that are in it. Such as: Cocoa, vanilla orchid, etc. But all together, I think they missed the mark. There's something about it I just don't like. Maybe it's because it's more of a musky scent (in my opinion) instead of the sweetness I'm always looking for. So all in all... Forever Red is my winner! lol. Although because of the prices, I would not purchase either line. Besides, where lotions are concerned, I prefer organic products since others seem to put toxic chemicals in their lotions. I do have this scent in the spray, but I would never use the lotions/butters.

Sally Hansen Triple Shine Review!

I saw that people received this in their Violet VoxBox. I was part of the Rose, so I didn't get this one too. Anyhow, they looked so pretty and I had never heard of them. So while I was at Target I grabbed three: Red Snapper, Vanity Flare, and Flame On (listed as shown in picture). I'm gonna write separate reviews for each color. But my general thought of these nail polishes is: They're great! They're nice and shiny, the colors are beautiful, and the brush is the same as she has for her Insta-Dri line. I will say some of the Triple Shine colors look very similar to some in the Insta-Dri family. I would also like to try: Sparkling Water, Wavy Blue, and Reef-Raf. Sparkling Water is this really pretty dark green color, Wavy Blue is a deep blue color, and Reef-Raf is a lighter pink shade. I can't wait to get these! I've heard other reviews where they say they didn't need a base or top coat, however, since my nails seem to be on the oily side (they don't feel oily, but they don't hold nail polish in a "typical" way) I use a base coat, two coats of the color, and my Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip top coat. All in all, I would say these are worth a shot. But be careful when picking your colors. Some are just glittery and don't actually have a color, so they're better as a top coat. Keep that in mind while picking!

*I found mine at Target for $4.50.

*Oh I also wanted to add that the caps are weird lol. It took me a minute to figure it out. You actually pull the square cap off and there's a round cap underneath. While I find that really wasteful, oh well, whatever lol. Interesting and odd choice, but okay. So just so you know!

Yestocarrots.com Review!

So anyone who tried to take part in the Cyber Monday deal already knows what a disaster it turned out to be! It was horrible! I (among many many other people) tried to access the site for HOURS to no avail. It was very frustrating and honestly, it made me really sad! I know the company didn't have to make any offers at all anyway, but they chose to and it was very disheartening to us who couldn't get through, either over the phone or through their website. For those who don't know, Yes To had an AMAZING deal where you could get any single item for $2! AND you could get 2 like items. So if you wanted, you could order 2 of everything they had for $2 a piece! So amazing. Anyhow, needless to say I was one of the unfortunates who was unable to get through. However, I had sent them a (rather angry) email on Monday about how frustrated I was. They wrote back saying they would send me a promo code to use later in the week to get the same offer! I got the code today and placed my order (it's only good till midnight!) I'm so excited! Yes To really made it right and now I have things coming for myself (both new and things I already love) and Christmas gifts! I couldn't be happier with them. They really do care about their customers and felt horrible that their site crashed and couldn't get it running again.

Bath & Body Works Sleep Mask Review!

So I got the penguin sleep mask for my mom for Christmas. She had been looking everywhere for a sleep mask to no avail. It's really cute, but it's a little expensive. I tried it out myself lol. It's pretty tight fitting, but because it's black on the inside, no light can get through. I gave it to her early since she had done me a huge favor. She woke up with the little pleats from the sleep mask on her forehead though lol. I don't know that I would recommend this. First of all, it's too expensive. I paid $15 for a sleep mask! But she really wanted one, so it was worth the money. However! I was at Target today and found a luxury sleep mask for $5! It's so nice! It has adjustable straps so you can decide how tight it should be. It also has pads where your eyes go. It's so soft! I'm gonna stick this one in her stocking. I found a bunch on an end cap near the pharmacy. There were blue, green, and red ones. I got the last green one since green is my mom's favorite color.

Rose VoxBox Review!

I was chosen for the Rose VoxBox last month (yay!!!!!!). I got this box complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Now that I've had my products for a while, I can do a review on my box as a whole =). So in my box I received: Lindt Truffles, belVita Breakfast Biscuits, Dr. Scholls Cozy Cushions, Rimmel London Retro Glam Mascara, and Kiss Nails Gradation Kit. So let's start with the truffles. They were just the simple milk chocolate ones. You can't go wrong with those. They're absolutely yummy! I love how when you bite into it, the liquid inside covers your mouth. Ugh, just amazing lol. The belVita Breakfast Biscuits I got in the blueberry flavor. I had never tried these before, they're really good! They remind me of the Newton's Fruit Thins. I used to buy those all the time! They're flat and crunchy with real fruit baked into them. These are amazing too! Next are the Dr. Scholl's Cozy Cushions. These are super soft! They still give you the support and cushion you expect from Dr. Scholl's, but with the added bonus of warmth! These are perfect since winter is creeping up! Next is the Rimmel London Retro Glam Mascara. I really like that this mascara doesn't clump that easily. Two coats and you're ready to go. I'm not sure if I look retro when I wear it, but it's a really nice mascara! And last would be the Kiss Gradation Kit. I got it in Exposure (the gold, which I also got in my Kiss prize pack from the Spring Fever VoxBox). I like the gold the most. It's very forgiving. Since it's so light, if you mess up, it isn't even noticeable. These kits are very easy to use and look professionally done. They lasted on my nails for four days, which is a record! Since nail polish usually peels off my finger nails after just a few hours (apparently my nails are oily and don't hold nail polish well). Over all I was very pleased with everything in my RoseVoxBox! Thanks so much Influenster!

Bath & Body Works: Buttercream Mint Candle Review!

Oh. My. Goodness! I'm burning this candle as I type this and I am completely in love! I can't do strong fragrances since they give me a headache, and this candle is light and sweet. This candle was only available for black Friday! If the stores had any left over though, I'll bet they'll have them out for semi-annual sale like they did last year. Last years candle was gross though! What was it? I think it was called Christmas. It smelled disgusting! If these make it to semi-annual sale (depending on the price) I will for sure be stocking up! They were on sale black Friday for $10, I only got one. If they go on sale for $5, I'll get 5 of them!

NYC Automatic Eyeliner Review!

I got this eyeliner in "basic black". It's the "self sharpening" kind. I kinda find it annoying they call it "self sharpening", it doesn't sharpen, you just twist it and more product comes up, but whatever. I thought this would be a good replacement for the Avon eyeliners that work the same. I tried it for the first time the other day and I really didn't like it at all. I'll have to try it again to be sure, but when I was putting it on my lower eye it was showing up grey. So I tried pushing harder, it still looked grey! I bought black because I wanted black, so I don't understand what the problem is! Again, I'll have to try at least one more time to be totally sure, but I'm not sure if I'll ever like this eyeliner. It's only $1.99 vs Avon's eyeliners that are $7. I really really like Avon's a lot though! They're amazing. I only get them when they're on sale, try to stock up so they last a while since I can't find a suitable replacement. I'll do a second review when I try this again to confirm or deny this review. But these are my first impressions!

NYC Liquid Lip Shine: Nude York City Review!

I think this shade and the Brighton Beach Peach are my favorites! Rivington Rose is up there in my favs too! I really like the nude because it looks really subtle on your lips (obviously lol), but you still get the shine/shimmer. I also love that NYC flavored all of these the same (though I do think making peach, peach flavored, etc. would have been a better idea). All of them smell/taste like candy. Which is fine. I think this color looks really pretty on my lips and I absolutely love it! And for such a cheap price! You just can't beat it!

*You can find these at Target (and other retailers that carry NYC products) for about $1.98!

Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Review!

Oh my goodness I LOVE these! I love peppermint bark period, but especially Ghirardelli's! It's not too hard like some come out sometimes. It's softer and soooooo yummy! Apparently there's a peppermint bark cheesecake?! What?! I really wanna try that! lol. But yeah, Ghirardelli comes out with these every holiday season. If you like peppermint bark, oh my gosh, you have to try it!

Target Loofah Review!

I normally used loofahs from Bath & Body Works, but I was at Target a while back and saw theirs. I picked a pretty deeper blue one. It has a silky feel to it. I absolutely love it! It still exfoliates your skin, but it's nice and gentle. I really like that it's silky. Right now mine is still in perfect shape since I just started using it after my B&BW one wore out lol. They're pretty cheap at Target too. Full priced they are, but you can even catch these on sales! Which makes it even better. I think I paid around $2-$3 for it. Great quality too, so don't let that fool you. If you like mesh loofah's, you should give Target's a try!

Blackberry Curve 9315 Review!

This phone was an early Christmas present from my mom =). We have T-mobile and now they offer a deal where you can pick any phone you want and make monthly payments on it, instead of paying the whole amount up front. Onto the phone! I love it! But that really isn't saying much since the phone I had before this I had for over 3 years and it was just a bar phone with a flip out keyboard. It didn't even have convo style texting. The screen was pretty small too. This phone is so awesome! I've never had a blackberry before, but I'm enjoying it so far. I'm a chronic texter so that's my favorite part of this phone. It offers convo style texting and you can set it to blink a certain LED color for certain people. The only thing I don't like about it is that T-mobile doesn't let you block calls. Which is especially annoying because my last, little nothing phone COULD block numbers. There was an option on my phone, I didn't have to pay anything extra or anything. So I don't understand why, with a better phone, I can't do the same thing. I like blocking unknown numbers and numbers I don't recognize. Sometimes they call early in the morning and wake me up. So that part of it is REALLY annoying lol. Because now if I wanna block calls, I'm gonna have to pay $5/month (which isn't much, but its annoying since I could do it for free with my last phone). The battery life on this phone rocks! I text like alllll day lol. I'm charging it now after almost 24 hours since it's last charge. Very impressive since my last phone's battery didn't last that long. I always charged it overnight. The screen is bigger than my last one for sure! Everything is pretty simple on this phone too, which is nice since I just got this phone yesterday and have almost everything figured out now = ). Thanks mom!

Influenster Review!

For those who don't know, I'm a member of Influenster! Influenster is a company that gives out boxes of free stuff in exchange for reviews on the products! You have to be invited to join (you can be invited by a friend or someone who is already an Influenster or you can request one from the website). It is hard work, but it's worth it. It's 100% free! After you're invited, you go to the website and connect all of your social networks (the more influence you have the better!) You then unlock life stage badges (you can unlock as many as you like) and then unlock expert badges (choose wisely! You only get 5, EVER). Your Influenster score is your rank among other Influensters, so it really doesn't change often. They base their decisions on demographics, age, location, and your expert badges. They will send you an email if you pre-qualify for a box, after taking the survey you hear back in about two weeks if you qualified (they want to make sure the box fits you before deciding if you should get it). I joined in March of this year. It took about a month and a half before I qualified for my first box. I've gotten 5 though! I love trying new things and reviewing them. It's a lot more fun than it sounds lol.

The Simpsons Review!

I've been watching this show for so long! It's as old as I am! lol. I still love it. I love that they never age, or change clothes... though that part of it is questionable lol. It's just a cartoon though, so who cares about stuff like that. Homer will always be my favorite! I LOVE HIM! He's so funny, he always makes me laugh. His scream and laugh are absolutely priceless.

*Yes they still make new episode's and you can catch them on Fox, Sunday's at 8/7c.

Rimmel London Stay Glossy 3D Lip Gloss: Popcorn For 2 Review!

I'm hearing most people say this is a pinkish shade. Which I found interesting! Online and in the pics I have on here, it DOES look a little pink. But in the tube and on my lips it looks more on the brown side, though in my opinion it's simply a nude. I really like these lip glosses. They claim to last 6 hours, I would say that's false. It lasts a decent amount of time though, but not 6 hours. The 3D shades are pretty fun. The originals just have your basic gold shimmer, but in the 3D's they used some blue, silver, gold, purple shimmer. I do hate the flavor/scent of these, but it does fade pretty quickly. For the price you really can't complain too much. You can find them at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, for around $4!

*If you'd like to check out ALL 6 of the shades Click here!

Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Review!

This is one of the best foundations I've ever used. It comes in like a jar with a twist off lid. There's a compartment that opens and stores an applicator. I only use the applicator to dab the foundation on my face, then I smooth it all in with my fingers. I use the Classic Ivory, it's a perfect match for my skin! It feels light as a feather too. I'm really curious about the new Fit Me stick foundations they have, but I really like this one!

*You can find them at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, for around $8.

Equate Omeprazole Delayed Release Acid Reducer Review!

I have acid reflux and normally take Equate Acid Reducer anyway. I usually get the regular acid reducer (not delayed release) for just under $8 and I always get the 150 count. Recently it seems I've been having more acid build up, so I was taking 2 acid reducers instead of 1 per day. While at Walmart, stocking up on more, I saw these Omeprazole Delayed Release 14 day treatment acid reducer. I figured I'd give it a shot! You take 1 pill everyday before your first meal for 14 days. After 14 days you should be good for 4 months! I hope it's true! I just started taking it yesterday. It says on the packaging it can take 1-4 days before you notice results, but I noticed them right away! I didn't have nearly as much acid build up as I normally do. It kept it in check all day AND all night! I'm really hoping this works for an extended period of time. I know of people who either got too used to these pills so they stopped working, or their acid reflux got worse, so they needed something stronger. I'm also looking into home remedies to help with it, if you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave a comment!

*You can find the Omeprazole 14 day treatment at Walmart for less than $7! No prescription needed!

Soft Soap Holiday Hand Soap Review!

Love it! I got Vanilla Cookie, Peppermint Candy Cane, and Red Berry Cobbler. They were on sale at Walmart for $0.98! Can't beat that! The Peppermint one looks like a moisturizing hand soap. The other two are just clear gel looking soaps. You get 5.5 oz. I like these soaps a lot. They smell just as good and work just as good as other hand soaps that cost more. The holiday ones are the best usually!

Bath & Body Works: Winter Spice & Vanilla Hand Soap Review!

This fragrance is from last year, but it smells so amazing! I'm a big vanilla person. It does smell similar to Warm Vanilla Sugar (that they always have) and this year it's similar to Vanilla Snowflake and Vanilla Wish. I have it in the foaming style. I like that with the foaming it doesn't get your sink all yucky, but it's easier to use the foaming faster. The deep cleansing style lasts a lot longer. I guess people don't push the pump all the way down for the deep cleansing, but they do for the foam (who can have too much foaming soap on their hands? lol). I suppose that's the thought process anyhow. I only get soap from Bath & Body Works every now and then. Since they do have great scents, but even on their deals it's still a little pricey. Especially since Soft Soap (which Target and Walmart carry) do holiday scented soaps as well for a much lower price. I actually got some today at Walmart for a buck! I'll do a review for those later = )

*The best soap deal would be 5/$15, 7/$20, but it's usually 4/$15, 6/$20.

Target Car Freshener Review!

In the small little car section that Target has, I picked the freshener that looked like cherries. It didn't really smell like cherries though. I hung it in my rear view mirror like you're supposed to. I know after a while you get used to the scent, but I didn't feel like I could smell it very long. Maybe a few days. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I know it was cheap. Guess in this case you do get what you pay for lol. I've tried other ones just thinking that scent was maybe too light. But they didn't seem to last very long either. I wouldn't recommend these. Especially because I drive a little 2 door. So it isn't that my car is just too big so there's too much for it to cover. I have a small backseat and the front of my car to cover lol. Not much at all.

Avon 7-in-1 Gel Nail Polish Review!

I saw this for the first time in Avon campaign 24. I was ordering other things and figured I'd give this polish a try. I've always wanted to try gel nail polish, but it seems to be a little costly. I got this polish for $6 (it's actually on an even better sale in campaign 25. $3.99!) I got it in Parfait Pink. I really like it a lot! The color is a nice bright/hot pink. With gel polish you don't need a base or top coat. My nails seem to be on the oily side though (they don't feel oily, but apparently they are lol) since nail polish peels right off. It lasts longer on my toe nails (which is why I only spend time on THEM! & not my finger nails lol). So I went ahead and used a base coat, 2 coats of the gel polish, and a Sally Hansen anti-chip top coat. So far so good. Usually polish lasts about 2 weeks on my toes before it starts to chip. I'm curious to see how long the gel will last. I do like it a lot though, and for $6, I mean that's really not bad! Considering OPI is $8 and up and that's just for regular nail polish.

Cortizone 10 With Aloe Creme Review!

This stuff is amazing! I use it after I shower and it really takes the itch out of my eczema and keeps it under control. It's a thick consistency, so a tiny bit goes a long way! I got a 2oz from Target for around $6! I thought it would cost around $8 for a 1oz, so I was definitely excited about that lol. It's also good for bug bites and things of that nature. Not only for eczema, but it is fantastic for it!

Facial Brightening Paper Rose Mask Review!

I don't remember the name of who makes these, but you can find them at Walmart in individual little packs. There's usually a display with a bunch of different kinds for $1.99. I got this one and an Avocado and Oatmeal clay mask. I haven't tried that one yet, but I tried the rose mask. Um. It was... Interesting... You open the pack and it is exactly what it says, a paper mask. That's covered in this serum. So you put it on your face and let it sit for 15 minutes. My eyes were burning by the end of it because the eye holes were so small that the serum was touching the corners of my eyes. I have skin that's more on the sensitive side and it literally felt like my skin was on fire when I took it off. You take it off and blend the remaining serum in. I'd say my face was really hot for about half an hour. I also looked like Hannibal Lecture the whole time I had it on lol. I would never buy that one again. I don't recommend it to those with sensitive skin!

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer: Nova Review!

This color is a baby pink. I thought I would really like it since I hit it off with the first one I bought (Stargazer). Well I was wrong. I really dislike this color a lot! But, again, I'm not a fan of lip colors since I like my natural color. I thought this color would be more sheer, but it does have a lot of pigment. I know a lot of girls like that, so I'm sure ya'll would love Nova if you like light pinks. Since Walgreens was still having Buy 1 Get 1 50% off for Rimmel London products, I also got Out Of This World and Comet in the lacquers. I returned them today. I don't like any of them. I'm just gonna stick with Stargazer. The other colors just don't work for me.

Dr. Scholl's Cozy Cushions Review!

I was so excited to be part of the #RoseVoxBox that I got complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. My box included cozy cushions. They're so awesome! So soft and comfy, but very warm too. Which is awesome during the colder months. My feet get cold fast, so it's really nice to have these! You do have to cut them to mold them to fit your shoes right. My feet are on the smaller side too, lol. I would recommend these to anyone who's feet get cold really fast. You can stick them in your boots to keep your feet warm and cozy!

*You can find them for around $9 at Target!

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer Review!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to try these or not since I'm more of a lip balm girl. I like lip gloss to dress up a look, but I wear my lip balm the most. For sure not a lip stick girl, since I like the natural color of my lips. These come in beautiful shades. I went with Stargazer, which is a gorgeous gold color. Gold seems to look really good with my skin tone and hair/eye color. It's a very smooth lacquer, not sticky or heavy at all. I really like the packaging too. It's really pretty and unique looking. They come in 13 shades, ranging from neutrals to pinks to reds to browns to golds. I haven't seen these at any stores other than Walgreens. They're $4.99 there. Right now Walgreens is having a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale for Rimmel London! You can pick between lip products, eye products, and nail products. If you're looking to check these out, I would do it now while you can buy 1 get 1 50% off!

Avon: Cranberry & Cinnamon Body Care Review!

I got the whole set last year for Christmas. I really like it! I love cinnamon, but it's usually too strong of a fragrance for me. Especially since it's so spicy, it really freaks my nose out. It seems they used a sweeter cinnamon for this fragrance. It smells so good! The cranberry is a great balance. I think every holiday season Avon comes out with a new winter fragrance. I didn't see the Cranberry & Cinnamon anymore, so they're only limited time. This year it's Winter Berry. I actually ordered that one since in the Avon Campaign 24 you can get 5 body care items for $10! Considering the sprays are $9 a piece full priced and the shower gel's and body lotion's are $6, you absolutely cannot beat that price! If you're interested, you should find an Avon consultant in your area. You can also check them out online!

Rimmel London Stay Glossy 3D Lip Gloss Review!

These are really nice! I wasn't sure if I'd like them or not. I really do though! They come in beautiful colors! I got Popcorn For 2 and Back Row Smooch. Popcorn For 2 is a nice nude color, but these have a lot of shimmer and shine, so it's noticeable you're wearing lip gloss lol. Back Row Smooch is a really pretty pink. Online it looks fuchsia and kind of scary lol. I don't like bright colors, I like nude/natural colors. But in person, it's just a gorgeous light pink. I thought I wanted Lights, Camera, Action. Online it looks like a really pretty neutral, but in person it's a bright orange! I also wanted Love At The Movies, which is a brown color, but Target didn't have that one =(. They only had a few of the 3D colors, the Stay Glossy regular glosses come in 18 different colors. I love that these aren't sticky! I hate sticky lip glosses. They claim to last 6 hours... They do, but it does fade some, the shimmer goes away, it gets a little sticky, and the pigment isn't as good. I would suggest throwing it in your bag to reapply at some point. Especially to keep it from getting sticky, if you don't like that. All in all these are great lip glosses!

*You can find them at Target and Walmart for $3.99!

Yes To Blueberries Eye Firming Treatment Review!

I recently made an order with yestocarrots.com. I ordered some of their new smoothing lip balms since they hadn't hit the shelves at my local Target yet (now that they have they're usually sold out!). Anyhow, I found a bunch of samples in my box when I opened it. I was very excited. Most of the samples they sent me were things I've already owned, but one of the samples was their eye firming treatment. Now, I'm only 24, so I don't have crows feet or wrinkles around my eyes yet, but I've read and heard that you should start using anti-aging products in your early 20's. Collagen starts breaking down at age 15 for women. The directions say to use it twice a day, so I have been. I really like the scent and how it feels. A very little bit goes a long way. I just dab it around my eye area then blend it into my skin. It absorbs quickly. I haven't noticed a difference, but there's nothing to notice lol. I'm just hoping that this will help prevent my eyes from aging. I've read reviews that older women have written and they say it does help their wrinkles and crows feet disappear.

*You can find it at Target and Walgreens for $19.99.

Goldfish Grahams: Fudge Brownie Review!

In case you haven't noticed, I am in love with goldfish crackers and grahams! lol. They are so good! I wanted to try some different flavors. The Fudge Brownie ones are pretty good. I wouldn't say they're my favorite, but they for sure have chocolate-y goodness! The only grahams so far that I've seen in the big cartons are the S'mores. I'm hoping sometime in the near future they'll do some of the other flavors in the bigger cartons. I would buy the French Toast and Vanilla Cupcake flavors in the big cartons for sure! French Toast seems to be harder to find for some reason (though I just saw online that Target stores carry them now too! Walmart was the only place I saw them before). The Vanilla Cupcake is pretty easy to find. They usually always have them in stock in my local Target.

*You can find the small bags of graham's at Target and Walmart for $1.99.

Reign Review!

I really love this show! I saw the previews before The White Queen ended. I figured it would be a decent trade off since it's around the same era. I also figured it would be a decent trade off since they had only ever planned on doing one season of The White Queen. This show follows Mary, Queen of Scots in 1557 France. I didn't really pay much attention to these kinds of things in school lol. So if there are inaccuracies, I don't notice them. I really enjoy this show. Adelaide Kane plays Mary, Queen of Scots. She is absolutely stunning. She's a great actress too. They're all good actors though, which makes the show even more enjoyable. If you enjoy shows like these, you should give this one a shot!

*You can catch new episodes on the CW on Thursdays at 9/8c.

Hoarding: Buried Alive Review!

This show is pretty good. I've been watching since the first season. They're in their 4th season currently. The show is pretty much how it sounds. It's about people who hoard. Some homes are much, much worse than others. I watched last nights episode. Wow! This woman lived all by herself (her hoarding pushed everyone in her life away). She had things piled so high she could stand on top of it and touch the ceiling. BUT, she couldn't even stand up all the way, she had to hunch down so she wouldn't bump her head on the ceiling. She also had some roomies. Rats. Massive rats. They were huge. They had giant rat holes outside of her house that made tunnels to the inside. There were well over 20 holes. Tons and tons of rats! Everywhere. They weren't scared of people either, so they just ran around on top of her stuff all day long. By the end of the episode, the roomies had moved out. Her house was spotlessly clean! Hopefully she can keep it that way.

*If you're interested, you can catch new episodes on TLC at 10/9c.

NYC Kiss Gloss: Clear As Can-Dy Review!

I really like this one! I think it's my favorite of the 6 I have. The others have a candy/fruity flavor/scent to them, but this one has a minty flavor/scent. City Sorbet, 5th Ave Frosting, Sugar Hill Shimmer, and Jay Walkin Jam all have sparkles and shimmer in them. Clear As Can-Dy and Murray Hill Melon don't have sparkles or shimmer, just glossy looking. It'll be nice to have the option if I want one with shimmer or not lol. These Kiss Glosses are worth looking into! $2.99!

*I found that Walmart has the most variety, seeing as how they carry ALL of the flavors! The Target in my area only carried City Sorbet.

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Mascara Review!

This was one of the products in my #RoseVoxBox (complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes). I like it! The brush is cool. It's not a fiber brush. It's taller on the sides and shorter in the middle. It doesn't clump very much and two coats makes your lashes look beautiful and full. It really does kinda look retro, yet still modern (I suppose depending on your make up choices). This is a brand new product, I haven't seen them in stores in my area yet. They retail for $5.99 (Influenster tells you the value of the products you receive). If this sounds like something you would like, you should check it out. It's a pretty cool mascara!

NYC Big Bold Curl Mascara Review!

I had been wanting to try this mascara and finally bought some the other day! I tried it as soon as I got it home. I've been wanting to experiment a little bit. I'm a Maybelline girl, but I wondered if I switched to NYC would I really notice a big difference? NYC is the cheapest make up I know of, and it's good quality! So there's really no reason not to at least try them out. I honestly didn't notice much of a difference between this mascara and the Maybelline ones I usually buy. Doesn't clump that much. Gives you bigger/longer looking lashes. I really like it. I was paying close to $7 for Maybelline's mascara and I paid $4.50 for this one. I'm thinking switching to NYC will be seamless!

*You can find them at Target and Walmart (although I don't think all Walmart's have them in stores. I know the one in my area doesn't.)

Because I Said So Review!

This movie was on Lifetime today! I love, love, love it! I know it only got a star and a half for it's critique, but there must have been a lot of men rating it lol. It's a great girl movie. Mandy Moore, Lauren Graham, Diane Keaton. Great cast, great acting. It's all about a mother (Diane) who sets up a personal ad for her daughter (Mandy). After interviewing many, many men, she decides an architect named Jason is the perfect fit for her daughter. She sets it up so they meet "accidentally" since she doesn't want her daughter to know she meddled. Another guy she interviewed was a musician, she said absolutely not to him. He swiped one of her daughters cards (she's a chef and does catering) and he met her where she works. At first she thinks she hits it off with both guys, but then she decides only one really makes her feel like herself with him. I won't give away more than that, although this movie did come out in 2007! Ha ha. If you haven't seen it, well what are you waiting for?! It's one of my favorites. You get everything, comedy, drama, etc. It's so flippin good!

NYC Liquid Lip Shine Review!

I heard a lot of people saying they really loved this product. So I decided I wanted to try it too! I really like it! It's a good formula. Doesn't feel heavy, it isn't sticky either. The colors are really pretty. I got Rivington Rose, Brighton Beach Peach, Honey on the Hudson, and Nude York City. They're all flavored the same. They taste and smell like candy. They have 10 colors total. I really want the Big Apple Spice color too. They last a decent amount of time. I also really like the applicator. It's a wand and it has a spongy applicator. I like the shine a lot too, it isn't over the top. Oh, did I mention you can get these at Target or Walmart for $1.98?! I love NYC's line so much! Amazing, good quality make up for an amazing price. Even if you aren't a gloss person, but wanna try it, it's only 2 bucks. So if you end up not liking it, it isn't even that big of a hit to your wallet.

Back Loofah Review!

I purchased a back loofah from Target not too long ago. I love them! They make cleaning your back so much easier! All loofah's were on sale the day I went! Gotta love that! I got my back loofah in blue for only $4.19. I also went ahead and got a regular loofah too for only $2.02! There's nothing really fancy to the back loofah I got, it's just a basic loofah. No wooden handle or anything. The mesh is nice quality. It lathers up my shower gel really well too. I will absolutely be buying it again when I need another!

NYC Kiss Gloss Review!

I adore the NYC line. I love that you can get good quality make up, for an amazing price. I recently got their kiss gloss in City Sorbet and 5th Ave Frosting. I also ordered four more online (they're hard to find in stock in my area!). I ordered Murray Hill Melon, Clear As Can-Dy, Jay Walkin' Jam, and Sugar Hill Shimmer. I ordered the other four colors/flavors after trying the two I found in stores. I really like them. I'm not much of a gloss girl anymore, but I wanted to try these. The consistency is thick, but it isn't that sticky. The glitter/shimmer is very pretty. The colors are light. 5th Ave Frosting and Clear As Can-Dy are both clear colors. The City Sorbet is a pretty light pink color (doesn't really show up as a color on my lips). Sugar Hill Shimmer is a shade lighter than City Sorbet. Murray Hill Melon is a pretty hot pink color. Jay Walkin' Jam is a darker pink color. I like lighter colors, clear or light pink are perfect for my taste. I am interested in the darker ones I picked though, curious to see what the colors will look like on my lips. They also have B'way Berry, which looks to be the darkest of all of the colors. It's a pretty dark berry color, looks purple. Soho Sweetpea looks like a lighter purple to me. Tribeca Tangerine is an orange. Park Ave Punch is also an orange-y color.

*The only color I found at my local Target was City Sorbet.

*Walmart carries all the colors both in stores and online for $2.74.

Lindt Truffles Review!

Another goody in my Rose VoxBox I got from Influenster for testing purposes, were Lindt Truffles! Milk chocolate. So good! These chocolates really are amazing. The hallow chocolate outside is always smooth, and then the milk chocolate inside of it just pours out into your mouth. So delicious. I also got a coupon for $1 off Lindt Truffles. I might have to try a different flavor. The caramel milk chocolate, vanilla white chocolate, and hazelnut chocolate sound delicious! Can't wait to try some I never have before.

*You can get a 5.1 oz bag for under $4 at Target and Walmart!

belVita Breakfast Biscuits Review!

I recently was fortunate enough to qualify for the Rose VoxBox (sent to me complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster). One of the goodies in my box were the belVita breakfast biscuits in the blueberry flavor. I had never tried these before. They are so yummy! I love them! They remind me of the Newton Fruit Thins. They have real pieces of fruit in them and they're nice and thin. Crunchy too. They taste amazing and they're supposed to give you energy. I didn't really notice a difference in my energy levels, but they probably work for some people. Plus, I didn't eat them in the morning, I ate them as soon as I opened the box lol. That was roughly 1pm. Oh well! Less than $4 for a box, so they're a really good deal too! I would buy these.

Ravenswood Review!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch this show or not. But since the same people who made Pretty Little Liars also made Ravenswood, I figured I'd give it a shot. I don't normally like ABC Family shows because the acting is SO poor. However, the acting on PLL is pretty awesome. They all do a terrific job. Since they did such a good job on PLL, Ravenswood should be just as good, right? Indeed! It's really good. The two shows are actually linked. They ended the PLL Halloween special with the girls leaving Caleb in Ravenswood to help a girl he had just met. They became friends quickly and Hannah didn't want her left there all alone to fend for herself. So they start Ravenswood right where PLL left off. There are very strange things happening in Ravenswood and Caleb wants to get to the bottom of it. There seems to be ghosts, among other things, complicating their stay there. I can't wait to see where the season will take us. I'm also curious to see if this show will be nearly as successful as PLL is.

*You can check it out on ABC Family Tuesdays at 8/7c.

Arrow Review!

Oh. My. Wow! I really like this show! It's so exciting and action packed. If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out! It's in its second season now. I've been watching since the very first episode. It's about a guy (a total hunk!) who was trapped on an island for 5 years. They start the show out at the end of the 5 years when he gets off the island. He goes back home to his family, who thought he was dead (it had, after all, been 5 years).
He ended up on the island because someone rigged the boat they were on and it went down. The majority of the people on it died, except for him (Oliver), his dad, and another guy. His dad ended up shooting the other guy and himself so Oliver had a bigger chance of making it.
Anyhow, now that he's back home he's dead set on saving his city. It doesn't hurt that he's a gorgeous billionaire! lol. Season one he was "The Hood". A vigilante crossing lines the police wouldn't, even though the people were horrible. Now in season 2, after the passing of his best friend, he doesn't want to kill people anymore, he wants to take a different approach. NOW he's "Arrow". His vigilante costume is just a hood and he uses a bow and arrow as his weapon.

*If you're interested it's on the CW Wednesday's at 8/7c.

Yes To Carrots Lip Tint: Coral Sunshine Review!

I think this is a product that Yes To has decided to get rid of. I've never seen it on their website or in stores before. I ordered the two colors offered on Walgreens.com (Coral Sunshine and Ready Red). There are more selections on Amazon.com, however the prices seem a bit ridiculous. I really like this color. It's very light and just gives a slight pop to my lips. It's also flavored mint, which I really like! I was afraid it would taste like lipstick, which I HATE! The packaging is cute. It's a tiny little tube, but you get 0.09 oz. The colors are Cotton Candy, Coral Sunshine, Ready Red, Natural Smile, Sunset Pink, and Chocolate Kiss. I haven't seen the Chocolate Kiss on Amazon. They do have the others though and I'm tempted to get them! If I can find a good deal, I will order them for sure.

New! Yes To Smoothing Lip Balm Review!

These babies are brand spankin new! (Anyone ever wonder why that's a phrase?) So new in fact that they weren't on the floor yet. I asked for help though and they used their Ipod to locate them. They were in the back still, so they went in back and got them for me = ). I wanted one of each. They have grapefruit, blueberry, and pomegranate with SPF. They already have a pomegranate flavor with SPF in their lip butters, but I guess they wanted to do that flavor again. I like the packaging a lot! It's really pretty, and it's an oval shape. They fit nicely in your bag or even your pocket. And if you drop it on the floor it won't roll away from you! The oval shape also fits your lips really well, so very easy application. The flavors are wonderful and the balm itself is fantastic! So smooth and light. Yet long lasting and very moisturizing. You should check them out for sure! You can order them on yestocarrots.com. Target is the only store at the moment that carries these. If they don't have them on the floor yet in your local Target, do what I did and ask for help. If they're in the back they'll more than likely grab it for you!

*2.99 for an organic lip balm is an awesome deal!
*The pomegranate is the only one with SPF.

Goldfish Grahams: Vanilla Cupcake Review!

These grahams are so good! The French Toast flavor is still my favorite, but these are right behind them. They have a simple, but amazing vanilla taste. They have little sprinkles on them too, to complete the cupcake idea. I didn't see these at Walmart last time I was there. I found them at Target. Same price though ($1.99), so that was awesome! If you're a vanilla lover, you HAVE to try these!

Hostages Review! Update...

So I did a review on this show after the first episode. Now that a few have aired, I have a better opinion. I really dislike this show. However, it's like a train wreck, and I can't possibly stop looking now. Which sucks lol, but now I have to know what's gonna happen. The reason I dislike it is, it's really predictable at this stage, which makes it incredibly boring. If you watched the last episode, you know that the doctor's children were put on a bus to Canada to get away. Did anyone NOT expect the end of the episode when the doctor came back into her house to find her kids in the kitchen? I mean come on. I saw it coming a mile away. It's super dull now. It's supposed to be so exciting and unpredictable. Fail on their part. I'm sorry to those who enjoy this show, happy watching to you! I will continue to watch just to see what happens now. But it definitely is not on the top of my priorities.

Goldfish Puffs: Buffalo Wings Review!

I didn't know that Target carries a lot of varieties of Goldfish. I thought they only carried the different flavors of the crackers in the smaller bags. They have the puffs, grahams, and crackers! Not only that, but in a few flavors they even have the big 30 oz cartons. Which is awesome! Since Target is closer to me than Walmart is. Walmart does still have the most variety. Anyway! These are pretty tasty! The only flavor I'm unsure of is the Cheddar Bacon flavor. I don't usually like things that are flavored like bacon. Don't get me wrong, I love bacon! But I guess I like the real thing, not something flavored like it. I haven't tried those and don't plan to. The Buffalo Wings flavor is good though. I think the Salsa Con Queso is my favorite of the puffs though.

*You can get the puffs at Walmart or Target for less than $3.

Trident Layers: Grape Lemonade Review!

This flavor is pretty good. I saw it at Walgreens while I was walking around one day. It was new and I had never tried it before, which is mostly why I got it lol. I thought it would be really strong in grape flavor, but it actually has a good balance of the grape and the lemonade flavors. Not my favorite flavor, but it's good. I got mine on sale for $0.69. I think full priced they're around $1 or so.

Goldfish Grahams: S'mores Review!

I had never even heard that Goldfish now makes grahams! I was at Walmart looking at the different things they had for the big 30 oz cartons (these are 35 oz). I saw S'mores grahams. I had to have them! They are sooooo good! There are regular graham goldfish, chocolate goldfish, and little marshmallow goldfish! The marshmallow's are even shaped like fish, so cute. They're super yummy too! I will for sure be getting another carton or two of those! I also grabbed a small bag of the French Toast flavored grahams since that's the only size they had. Those are terrific! If they make those in cartons, I would for sure get some! They're that delicious! When I first saw them I actually passed them up, went to another aisle to get other things I needed and decided to go back and grab those. Glad I did too! I snagged the last bag. If you haven't checked out the Goldfish grahams yet then you have to! If you like grahams anyway... If you don't then I don't suggest those lol.

*I got my carton of S'mores at Walmart for less than $8. I got the small bag of French Toast grahams for $1.99!

American Horror Story: Coven Review!

We're only two episodes in and I'm completely hooked! I wasn't sure what to expect from the previews. I thought maybe they were setting it back in the old days when witches were first around. They're doing it modern day though! Which I think makes it so much more interesting! According to the show, most witches no longer exist. It follows the lives of four young girls who stay in a school for witches. It's run by a witch who is the daughter of a supreme witch. A supreme is a witch who basically has ALL powers. Most witches only possess one or two powers. The supreme lives in the house where the school is located also. The newest student is Zoe. She arrived after her boyfriends death. She was losing her virginity to him when he started shaking and blood came oozing out of his eyes and nose. Her power is black widow. She can't sleep with any boys or they'll die. She's our main character. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in even watching just a few minutes of, you should! It's fascinating!

*On FX Wed at 10/9c.

Goldfish Puffs Review!

I really wasn't sure what to think of the puffs, but I decided I wanted to try them. I got the Salsa Con Queso and Mega Cheese. The Salsa Con Queso is SO good! I like it A LOT more than I thought I would. I haven't tried the Mega Cheese just yet. I had a feeling I should have bought the last bag of Buffalo Wings puffs too! For some reason I talked myself out of it lol. Next time I'm at Walmart (if they have any left) I'm for sure snagging one! If you haven't tried the puffs yet, they're pretty nice! They're bigger than the original crackers and the crunch sort of reminds me of cheese puffs. I really like them! For sure getting more in the near future!

*I got mine at Walmart for $2.99! You get a 7 oz bag.

Goldfish Crackers Review!

I'm completely obsessed with Goldfish crackers lately! I always get the big cartons of the regular cheddar flavor. I went to Walmart today to pick up 3 cartons (Walmart is a good 30 minutes away, so I like to stock up when I go ;) lol). They were all sold out of the regular! I was so sad! So I got the Whole Grain cheddar. I think they're pretty gross lol. I'm gonna try to get used to them, if not I may have to give them away to someone who likes them. I don't care for the flavor of them. I also got the colored ones. They're okay... It says on the front that it's the same cheddar taste, but it's so not lol. Lastly I got the S'mores grahams ones. I love those! Delicious! I also picked up a small bag of the French Toast grahams. SO TASTY! Next time I go to Walmart I seriously hope they have the regular cheddar in the big cartons. I'll be so sad if they don't have them again!

*I get them at Walmart for $8.

Mossimo Pullover Hoodie: Coral Review!

I ordered this hoodie on Target.com last week. It came today and I LOVE it! I got it in coral. Its beautiful! It's coral with light coral stripes. It's 92% polyester, which gives it a light, sweater feel, that I like a lot. I get hot easily, so I needed a lighter hoodie. I really didn't know what to expect though until it came! These hoodies are available in stores, but only select sizes are available (at least at my store when I checked online). I'm actually going to Target tomorrow and I'm gonna try the grey and white hoodie on there. I think I want it in size small. I got size medium for the coral one. It fits a little big, which I usually like in a hoodie, since it doesn't need to cling to my body! It just needs to be comfortable and keep me warm, them being cute is just a bonus = ). They also come in green and blue. I also want those, but the blue is another that doesn't sell size small in stores. The green does though. I'll probably do a review on the grey one tomorrow, especially if I like the way a small fits.

*19.99 at Target or Target.com!

**Update! Apparently you can't buy these in stores (at least according to Target stores in my area). Not sure why it says online they're available in stores. Check your local store before trying to pick one of these up!

Britney Spears Circus Fantasy Review!

First and most importantly... I LOVE BRITNEY SPEARS! lol. I absolutely love this perfume. I'm not too big of a fan of the Fantasy one. But I've tried and loved Circus Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy (that one was discontinued = (, but it smells AMAZING!). Circus Fantasy has notes of fruit, floral's, and creamy musk. The top notes have raspberry zest and apricot blossom. The mid notes have peony, lotus, and orchid. The base notes have vanilla, musk, and violet candy. If you like fruity scents, you'll love this one. I adore fruity scents! The floral's and musk make it more sophisticated and grown up, versus some fruity scents that smell like something a little girl would like to wear. I found mine online. Depending on the site you can score this perfume for anywhere between $13-$30. Shop smart and get a deal! It's worth checking out!

NYC Sparkle Eye Dust: Bronze Shimmer Review!

I was a little worried about this color when I saw it. It's a darker brown than I'm used to. I tried it out today and didn't like it at all! It just doesn't look good with my skin tone. I might try a different day when I have more time to play with it. It might look better if I can get it lighter. I took it off and put Pink Topaz on instead. Bronze Shimmer is definitely my least favorite.

Up & Up Anti Itch Lotion Review!

I've only seen this lotion in Target recently. It's basically the store brand version of Cortizone-10 Eczema Lotion. I haven't noticed a difference between the two. It's only about 50-75 cents cheaper, but I mean, save where ya can! lol. I'll probably just stick to this lotion from now on. It's around $7 at Target. It helps my eczema as much as Cortizone does. Feels nice, moisturizes, and takes out any itch I may have.

NYC Sparkle Eye Dust: Gold Champagne Review!

I wore this color to work last night. It's a very pretty color! I don't think it's one of my favorites, seeing as how it's on the lighter side. Usually colors darker than my skin tone look better. This color looked nice though, and it made my eye area look brighter. Of course, I used my Wet N Wild eye shadow primer, so it still looked fresh and beautiful hours later.

Yes To Tomatoes Acne Kit Review!

I've been using this 3 piece kit for a while now. I'd say around a month. You start with the scrub. Which I love! I don't care for the smell, but it's like a creamy wash with tiny beads in it. It makes my face not only feel really clean and smooth, but it makes it feel like not a drop of oil is on my face. You follow that with the repairing lotion. Again, not a huge fan of the smell, but I don't really care as long as I get results. You put a thin layer of lotion on your face. It says on the directions it can be used alone or under another moisturizer. Since my skin is on the dryer side, I put some Dove lotion on top of that. The third step is the roller ball, which is used directly on any acne you may have on your face. I don't really use this kit for acne purposes, I use it for my black heads. I can say I really see a difference! There aren't nearly as many black heads on my nose now. I hope Yes To doesn't discontinue this kit! I love it! I could see myself using it for a very long time.

*I get mine at Target for $19.99.

Colgate Maxfresh Toothbrush Review!

I was at Target, wandering around in the clearance over by the toothpaste/brush aisle. They usually have soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, etc that's on clearance there. I saw this Colgate Maxfresh toothbrush. It was around $1. So I grabbed it. I got a pretty dark blue color ;). That was the only color I saw. I've never seen these toothbrushes again, so I guess they were on clearance since they were being phased out. Anyway. I really like this toothbrush a lot. It has a nice groove where you hold the brush, making it really comfortable to grab. It also has two parts of the brush that aren't bristles. They make kind of a cross shape. It gets my teeth really clean. It also has a tongue cleaner on the back, which I really like. If I ever saw this brush again, I would snatch it up!

Oral B Satin Floss Review!

This is the best floss! I was using just regular floss before. You have to have a long string of it since it gets caught in your teeth and messes up the floss. Not to mention it's hard to hold onto after your spit gets on it. So annoying! Then I found this satin floss. It's a lot stronger than regular floss. You only need a short string of it. It's easy to hold onto even when it's wet. It's thicker than regular floss too. It really gets my mouth clean. I would never use a different floss now.

*I get the 2 pack at Target for around $5.

Fantastic Sams Review!

I love Fantastic Sams. For a while I was going to my cousin (she's a partial owner of a hair salon). The salon was a good 30 mins from where I was living at the time though, so it became a pain. I decided to try Fantastic Sams since I don't have a ton of money and I'd always heard they had good prices. I know a lot of people won't go there because they're "cheap" and I guess they figure you get what you pay for. But I can certainly say that isn't true. I always get a dry trim, get my layers trimmed, and get my side bangs trimmed. I pay $14.95 (not including tip) and my hair always looks beautiful. Not to mention the staff is always really nice. The woman I had today was hilarious. So don't judge a book by its cover ya'll! It really is a good place for a hair cut.

Shea Moisture African Black Bar Soap Review!

I know I said I would wait a while before writing a review, but I love this stuff! After one use my skin looks and feels better than it did before. There is still some acne on my back, but it's cleared some off already. I'm gonna use up the rest of my Neutrogena acne body wash, even though it doesn't work at all, just because I don't believe in wasting things. I'm switching forever to Shea Moisture's African Black soap though! The bar soap I found at Walgreens for $4.99. I really like it, even though I'm not a big fan of bar soaps. If you try this bar soap, be sure to use a loofah! Since this soap is made with ash, it'll turn your wash cloth grey and stain it. That's what I read happened to other people anyway lol. I, fortunately, used my loofah. It will turn it grey, but it washes right off the mesh with no problem. I don't think I'll get the bar soap again though, because after looking online I see Target carries it in a liquid body wash too! 13 oz bottle for $10.29. Sounds a little high, but it is organic. I always find organic products are worth the extra money. Pretty sure this will be my new acne wash! Goodbye Neutrogena!

Dr. Scholl's Active Series Insoles Review!

I received the Dr. Scholl's Active Series Voxbox from Influenster! My 4th box, yay! It came today and I've already tried them out. It say's on the box that it's for shoe sizes 5 1/2-8. You're supposed to put them under your shoes, line up the heals perfectly, then cut the tips of the toes off so they'll properly fit in your shoes. They're really comfy! I did some jumping jax with them in. They support your feet really well and feel really comfortable. Influenster didn't send any coupons with them = /, oh well. According to Walmart.com they're $19.35. I'm also gonna try them in my shoes when I have to work. Since I work in retail, I'm always on my feet and they're always killing me by the time I get home. Excited to see how they help!

NYC Sparkle Eye Dust: Smokey Topaz Review!

I love this color! It's gorgeous! It's a nice pretty brown. I like to wear the sparkle eye dusts light, I don't like dark colors on my eyes. It's beautiful light! You could go darker for a night look. If you're into brown colored eye shadows, I would recommend this one for sure! And less than $3? How can you go wrong? At least worth a try. Like I've mentioned before though, I wouldn't wear this eye dust by itself, it definitely needs to be paired with a primer.

Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash Review!

I've tried all three of these, the pink grapefruit, the regular body wash, and the body scrub. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with all three. I unfortunately have some acne on my back, the pink grapefruit cleared some of it, but I stopped using it since it only says it treats acne, doesn't prevent it. The other two washes do say they help prevent. Well, I really don't know about that. I've been using this product for at least two years, if not more, and I still have some acne on my back. I've been on the hunt for something that actually works. If anyone has any suggestions, please comment! I recently bought an organic African Shea bar soap that Shea Moisture makes. It says that it helps with acne prone and "troubled skin". It says it also treats eczema, psoriasis, etc. I'm pretty excited! It smells good too. I want to use it for a while before doing a review so it'll be accurate.  If this one works, I'm never using Neutrogena washes again!

NYC Sparkle Eye Dust: Aquamarine Sparkle Review!

I like this color more than I thought I would. I was afraid that the green would be too much for my light skin tone. I put it on lightly though and I think it looked pretty good. It's gonna take some getting used to since I'm used to brown eye shadows. When paired with a primer these eye shadows last all day. I wouldn't recommend using them without one. They can be a little messy, so I pull the applicator out of the tube over toilet paper so if any spills out, I can easily clean it up. Then I put a little on my lid and smooth it out with my finger.

*These can be purchased at Target and Walmart for less than $3!

NYC Sparkle Eye Dust: Pink Topaz Review!

Hands down my favorite color I've used so far! It is SO beautiful! I love that the pink isn't a bright pink. Since it's topaz, it's brown based. Absolutely gorgeous! I wore it all day Sunday, paired with my Wet n Wild primer it didn't budge. 11 hours later it looked like I had just put it on. I recommend this color to anyone who likes brown eye shadows. You won't be disappointed!

*You can get these IN STORE at Target and Walmart for less than $3 and on Walgreens.com for $2.99.

Wet n Wild Fergie Eye Shadow Primer Review!

I was really disappointed when I used my NYC eye shadow primer for the second time and my eye shadow creased in about an hour. I needed to order some things on Walgreens.com, so I ordered the Wet n Wild primer too. I used it yesterday for the first time. I had my make up on for 11 hours. 11 hours later, my eye shadow still looked fresh and looked as if I just put it on. I was very impressed! It preps and primes and never creases! You can find this wonderful primer at Walgreens for $4.99. I got it while it was on sale for $3.74. I ordered two of them and will for sure be buying more in the future! Hopefully it doesn't get discontinued. I noticed that happens with a lot of Wet n Wild products. I'll have to stock up... lol.

Yes To Carrots Nourishing Shampoo & Pampering Conditioner Review!

I tried this shampoo and conditioner tonight and oh my goodness! It is FANTASTIC! My hair is always soft and silky, usually feels very light too, but after using this stuff, it's even SOFTER! I didn't think it was possible lol. You can find this at Target, but I actually ordered mine on yestocarrots.com. They have a deal where you can get the shampoo, conditioner, and anti frizz serum for $19.99! Really good deal considering it's organic! The shampoo is 99.4% natural and the conditioner is 99.8%! I would absolutely purchase this again! Oh, I should note the caps. Many, many people have complained that you can't squeeze anything out of the caps! It is most certainly true... You have to screw the top off and squeeze it into your hand that way. However, Yes To has mentioned more than once on their Facebook page that they're currently working on brand new caps for their shampoo's, conditioner's, body washes, etc. So be on the look out if you're already a fan. If you aren't a fan yet, you should try this shampoo and conditioner! You won't be sorry you did!

Trust Review!

I taped this movie on the Lifetime Movie Network a couple weeks ago. It was pretty good! It was about a 14 year old girl who met a boy named Charlie online. They had talked online for a while, then exchanged numbers to text and call each other. They eventually got really flirty and dirty. After a couple months of interacting he asked if she wanted to meet in person. At first she didn't want to, but decided to meet him at a mall. When he approached her, her face looked like it melted. He was not the 20 year old college student he claimed to be, he was in his late 30's! He ended up convincing her that they were soul mates, and age shouldn't matter when you have a connection like that. He brought her back to his hotel room and gave her underwear to try on. She ended up sleeping with him. Her friend told their principal at school about it since she worked in the mall and saw them together. So her parents found out and FREAKED out! Of course... What parent wouldn't?! They had her see a therapist and everything. They kept calling it rape and it would really aggravate her because she felt it was consensual since she thought she loved him. Later the police showed her three pictures of other girls and asked if she knew them. She said no and they informed her that "Charlie" did the same thing to those girls as well. It finally clicked for her that it WAS rape. She tried to kill herself by taking a bottle of prescription meds. Her dad found her in the bathtub and stuck his finger down her throat to make her vomit the pills back out before they rushed her to the hospital. She was okay. They end the movie showing "Charlie" with his wife and son. They ran into one of his students! Yes... He was a teacher! How disgusting is that? The police weren't able to get him for anything. So they ended it with "Charlie" being free.
