Arizona Harbor Sequin Boat Shoes Review!

I had been wanting a cute pair of boat shoes for a little while. I wanted to get these moccasin boat shoes that Wet Seal has, but they didn't have them in my size online and the closest store is 30 minutes away. I ended up finding some adorable ones on JCPenney.com. I was never really a big JCP person. I'm not sure why. Now there isn't one close to me either. I went ahead and ordered these leopard print sequin boat shoes online! They are SO cute. They also had a zebra print pair I liked. I also liked a pink sequin pair. Maybe sometime in the future I'll get the pink ones as well. I ordered them in size 5, even though I usually wear a size 6. The reviews for the pink ones said these shoes run big. Also when I ordered my jersey slip ons  from WS in size 6 (which is the smallest size they offer), they were a little big. Before my shoes come I need to go to Target to get some things I need, and one of those things would be a pair or 2 of those no shoe liner socks for flats. Since I can't wear any shoes (besides flip flops), without socks. I did end up paying more than the WS ones were. They're $14.90 and I paid $19.99 for the JCP ones. They're WAY cuter though, so I don't really mind!

Yes To Carrots Hydrating Shower Gel Review!

I love this shower gel! It smells so good and feels awesome on my skin. I just put a little on my lufa, but I get lots of lather out of it. It's 99.8% natural. They no longer carry the shower gel's, they replaced them with the body wash. I've used the body wash as well and I also love that! Great lather, great scents, and they're natural. You can also use the body wash as a bubble bath. I'm a shower person, but I wonder if the shower gel couldn't also be used as a bubble bath. Judging by how well it lathers and how little you need to achieve such great lather. I'm not sure if stores would still have the shower gel. I bought it at Target after the bubble baths had already been introduced. So I would imagine if stores still have some in the back or in their warehouse, they'd sell them until they're gone. So you may be able to get them still. But as I said, the body wash is just as good. So it isn't a huge transition.

Quik Trip Sandwiches Review!

Whenever there's not really food for me to bring to work, I usually stop at QT. I had a hard shift yesterday, I knew this ahead of time, so bringing food was a must. I always get their ham and cheese 6 inch sandwich and a bag of chips. It's perfect to eat during break. It's also pretty tasty. I usually always get the Ruffles cheddar and sour cream chips. Omg I LOVE those! They used to have a $5 deal, where you could get a sandwich, bag of chips, and drink. They didn't have it when I went in yesterday. BOO! So I just got a sandwich and bag of chips (I bring my water bottle with me anyway!). It was $5.35. Still better than going out somewhere around work. You spend closer to $10. Plus, I don't have to leave for break if I have my food with me. So I can just sit, eat, and relax. I totally recommend their sandwiches!

Target Socks Review! Part 2

It may sound weird, but I absolutely love Targets socks! I always get the no show ones for $1.50. Sometimes on sale for $1. They have the cutest styles and prints. Some of them are a little strange looking, but most are really cute. Most recently (a few months ago) I got a leopard print pair. They're grey with pink and orange print. They're really comfortable. I, personally, hate plain boring solid color socks. So I have tons of Targets pretty prints and styles. I have some that have owls on them, polar bears, dogs, leopard print, zebra print, polka dots, hearts, etc. I recommend them to anyone who hates boring socks ;)

Black Box Review!

When I first saw the previews for this show, I was like "What in the world...?". They made the previews look really bad, in my opinion. As it got closer to actually airing, they switched it up and showed clips from the show. Then I was thinking this would be something I'd like! It's about a neurologist, Catherine Black. She's bipolar. No one at her job knows about it, or she wouldn't be able to keep her job. When she's on her meds, she's fine. But when she skips taking them, WOW! She says life is beautiful when she's off them. In the first episode we learn that she's engaged to a super hunky man. She has a daughter that she had her brother and his wife adopt. So she's "Auntie Catherine" to her daughter. I'm not sure yet who knows about that. She hadn't even told her man that she's bipolar. But she had to tell him. And also tell him that while she had gone away, she stopped taking her meds, and became hyper sexual after having some crazy hallucinations. She took her driver back to her hotel room. Very intense first episode. We do also learn that she's an amazing Dr. Since she's able to look passed the "norm" and try to help people in the best way she can. Perfect example, an older woman was having hallucinations of a little person. She said he was her friend. They put her on meds and the little person went away. She asked Dr. Black where he went and why she couldn't see him anymore. After learning that the older woman had no one in the world, she took her off the meds and gave her back her friend. Her brain gave her what she needed, a friend and companion. It's a really good show! You should check it out if it sounds like something you may be interested in!

*You can catch new episodes on ABC, Thursdays at 10/9c.

Avon Mega Watt Nail Polish: Shock Review!

I love blue nail polish, but I am for sure more partial to lighter/medium shades of blue. This blue is a deep blue. My mom got it for me =). The consistency is very thin, one coat is definitely not enough! Two was perfect though. I normally don't like dark blues because they look black unless the light hits it just right. This one though, you can tell it's blue even when the light isn't on it. It's really pretty. I did my standard: Base coat, two coats of polish, anti-chip top coat. I'm used to the wider Sally Hansen brush from her Insta-Dri and Triple Shine families. This brush is much smaller. It was very easy to use though and it controlled the polish well. It didn't get all over my skin, just my nail. I like Avon's nail polish, they have some really gorgeous colors sometimes. Also in the Mega Watt family there's this really pretty light purple shade I'm interested in ;).

*They're $6.
*I found this pic online, these are not my nails.

Monistat 1 Combination Pack Review!

So, I'm curious what I did in a past life to deserve ANOTHER yeast infection! I got one before my last period and I got one before this period too. Seriously? I'll be sure to take my AZO Yeast Infection tablets everyday FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!! (They prevent future infections). This is my 3rd one in total in my life. My mom picked me up this Monistat 1 combination pack. It included the cure, "ovule insert", is what they call it. It looks like a little egg sitting on top of the applicator. Kind of strange lol. But I guess the egg dissolves/melts. The pack also included an anti itch topical cream. You can use the cream twice a day. I did need to use it twice yesterday, but the itching decreased almost immediately! By the end of the day (I inserted the little egg in the morning) it didn't itch at all! I was sore though because I have to wear jeans at work and even though I wear pajama jeans, they're still tight. So I'm off today and tomorrow and you can bet I'm in sweat pants! lol. I saw this got really bad reviews from other women. I'm so glad I didn't read them before trying it. I saw mostly complaints about burning. I didn't feel any burning at all. The itching didn't increase either (and it even says in the warnings that it could increase burning and itching). The last product I tried DID increase my itching. It was miserable. But as I said, with Monistat it actually decreased the itching. The applicator with Monistat is also much easier to use than my last one. I was having a really hard time getting the applicator in the correct spot (I actually wonder if I got THIS yeast infection because I didn't get it far enough last time). This applicator was super easy though. Just inserted it like I would insert a tampon and it went really far this time. So fingers crossed that putting it far enough and using AZO will keep the infections at bay now! Ugh only now I have to suffer through my period using pads. It says you can use tampons after all symptoms go away, and they have, but I'm afraid the medicine is still in there killing fungus. I don't wanna mess it up! Since tampons will absorb the medicine and then you're screwed and have to start all over again. NO THANKS! All in all, I would absolutely recommend Monistat. However, I will say, it seems each individual woman has their own experience and their own reaction. So just because I had a good run with it, doesn't mean everyone will, unfortunately. And Monistat is more expensive. It was $25 after tax at Walgreens. Roughly $10 more than I paid for the store brand last time, but I had a way better experience.
