Milk & Honey Up & Up moisturizing hand soap Review!

I love this hand soap! It feels nice on my hands and it feels like it does moisturize. I also love the price. Soft Soap makes it, but Target has it's own Up & Up store brand version. So it's only about $1.02 for a 7.5oz. I always buy that and the 64oz refill! It's less than $6. At some other stores that sell soap, you'll be lucky if you get an 8oz bottle of soap for less than $5. It makes a lot more sense to get Up & Up! Of course, if you like those other soaps, more power to you! Some people would rather pay more for those kinds, and that's cool too. I rotate between the Milk & Honey scent and the Aloe scent. I love them both! Highly recommend them!

Goody Ouchless Satin Sashes Review!

I got these a while back and I absolutely love them! They're pretty thin and I was a little worried about that when I bought them since I have thicker hair, but I figured they were worth a shot. I don't have any problems with these at all. They also come in a variety of pretty colors. I think they hold up longer than the thicker hair bands I've had. They don't stretch out as fast. I got them from target. I believe they were around $4 for 51 bands. I'm pretty sure I got these last year! I don't think I've even gone through half of them yet. I highly recommend these!

Colgate Total Review!

I usually use the Smart Foam, but I saw the commercial for Colgate Total with Kelly Ripa lol. I got the clean mint one. I like that it fights germs for 12 hours. It also helps prevent plaque, gingivitis, tartar build up, cavities, and bad breath. I like the flip top too and how wide it is. You can stand it up on the lid and it hardly takes up any space at all lol. I'm gonna work this one into my rotation. Since I use Smart Foam, they only have two flavors, so I rotate between the two. Now I'll add this one to the mix too! Great toothpaste!

Pantene Review!

I love their shampoo and conditioner. When I was younger, around 14 or so, I was exploring a lot of different brands. I tried and loved Pantene right away, so I've stuck with them ever since. Here I am at 24, still using them! lol. My absolute favorite was the Ice Shine! I used it for 6 years. I was so disappointed when they did away with it, but then they brought it back! Yay! I'm currently using that one, but am trying the Beautiful Lengths next and may stick with that one since it's supposed to help with split ends. I am trying to grow my hair out, so it sounds perfect for me! It has never left any gross residue in my hair or left it feeling heavy. My hair always feels super clean and looking beautiful! I don't think I'll ever stray from them ; )

Whodunnit? Review!

I watched the premiere of this show on Monday (it premiered Sunday, I taped it and watched it Monday). I thought it was really good. I very much like the idea of it. It's pretty unique and fresh. It kind of reminds me of that show, I don't remember the name, but it had people broken down into teams and they were to go to a crime scene that they redid. They would "solve" cases that had already been solved so a team would win if they guessed the right person was the murderer, how they did it, and why. I really liked that show, but I don't think it lasted very long. Anyway! I hope this show sticks around for a while, I'm curious who the murderer is since it's one of the guests living in the house! As of now, I have no idea who it might be, I'm hoping in the episodes to come it'll start to come together and I can start guessing who it is! If you're into CSI type things, you might wanna give this show a try! It's a "reality" version though.

Yes To Tomatoes Pore Scrub Review!

This scrub is super impressive! I was expecting it to be grainy and really rough since it's for acne/blackhead treatment. I figured it would be that way since it's supposed to get deep into those pores and clean them out. It's actually creamy! I was so impressed! It felt really good on my face and wasn't rough at all. It also is used to control oil, and it certainly did! I got mine at Target for $9.99. That's what the price is on yestocarrots.com. Target is the only store I know of that carries it and apparently they charge $14.99, but it was on sale. I found that kind of odd, but whatever! I only paid the $10 that YTC would have charged had I ordered it online lol. I will most certainly be purchasing this scrub again!

Bath & Body Works Cinnamon Sugared Donut Candle Review!

I adore this candle! It is my absolute favorite EVER! Since it's Bath & Body Works it burns really evenly and cleanly. You have to check out the wicks before you purchase though, don't get it if the wicks are cut too short. When they're too short and the wax melts, it tends to get the top of it wet and the flame will go out. I love this scent SO much I purchased it in the burning oil as well. I know it's a fall scent, but I can never get enough of it! I might have to stock up this fall when it's out again. Or during Semi Annual Sale. If you don't like food scents, this isn't the candle for you. But if you do like food/sweet scents, you should absolutely check this candle out. It's phenomenal!

Yes To Blueberries Overnight Hydrating Cream Review!

I tried this night cream for the first time last night. I had just finished up my Burt's Bees Intensive Hydration night cream. The YTB is very nice. It's a thinner consistency than Burt's, but one pump was enough to cover my entire face. I absolutely love the Yes To line, but I have to say I like that Burt's puts their night creams in a jar. I'm a person who doesn't like to waste things, and when it's in a jar I can use every last drop. I'm hoping I can somehow take the YTB tube apart when I can't get anymore product to pump out so I don't waste anything. The smell is also nice. It's $19.99 for a 1.7oz pretty much at every store. At Target it's $17.99 for a 1.8oz jar of Burt's night cream and only $15.99 at Walgreen's. I would highly recommend both of these night creams. They are both amazing!

Maybelline BB Cream Review!

I liked this BB cream when I first got it, but now I'm not so sure. I do like that it has sheer coverage, but still covers my flaws. I like how light it feels too. I hate that there's SPF in it. They don't use a natural source for their SPF and there are chances the chemicals they use can cause cancer. So I will no longer be using this product. I don't use any lines that have SPF in them unless it's an organic line because they use zinc oxide, which is a natural source of SPF. So I won't be purchasing this again.

Maybelline Color Whisper Review!

I was intrigued after seeing the commercial for these. I went to Target to get one and see how I liked it. I got  Pink Possibilities. It's kind of like a barbie doll pink. The color showed, but was decently sheer. I also like the way it feels when it's on. I ended up with ten of these total lol. I'm not sure if I have a favorite, but I really like the Mocha Muse. I have a lighter complexion and browns tend to look kind of gold on my lips. It looks really pretty. It feels almost balmy when it's on. Which is nice, because I hate lip sticks! Lip sticks always feel dry on my lips and I hate that! So these are really nice for the lip stick haters out there lol. I also really like Rose of Attraction. It's a dusty rose color. It's so beautiful! You should know though, the color on the lid is not the color that it comes off on your lips. It's a shade or so lighter, so keep that in mind when choosing which color you'd like. Berry Ready is a really dark red and is the most pigmented of all twenty colors. So if you like a color that really shows, you should probably pick that one.

*I got my ten at both Target and Walmart. I believe at both stores they were $6.94.

Yes To Blueberries Towelettes Review!

I think I'm officially obsessed with Yes To! There are so many more of their products I really wanna try! I picked up the YTB towelettes at Walgreens last night. It's $7.99 for 30 towelettes. Walgreens had a bonus, $7.99 for 40. So I got those. I really like these! They're perfect for people who travel a lot or people who just spend a lot of nights away from home. Instead of having to lug around your cleanser and moisturizer, you can just stick these in your bag! They not only cleans, they also moisturize. Most things that say that don't end up moisturizing my skin for very long. So I put it to the test. Hours later my face was still soft and smooth! So they really do moisturize. These are just amazing. I can't wait to try and love more Yes To products!

Avon Foot Works: Lavender Clay Mask Review!

I find this mask a little odd... For a couple different reasons. The first reason being, it's called a MASK, but it doesn't harden. Also there are beads in it that are supposed to exfoliate your feet... But again, it's a MASK, why does it also need to exfoliate? I don't like the scent of it either, but I'm not a lavender fan. It's really hard to get off too. Probably because I didn't soak them in the tub to get it off. I used a wet towel both times I tried it and I kept finding more after I thought I got it all! It goes into creases and doesn't wanna come out. I got this product for free because my Avon lady is amazing and forgot to put one of my products in my bag and felt bad. She got it to me within two days, but still felt like giving me something for free for the trouble, so sweet lol. As I'm grateful to have gotten a free product, I will not be purchasing this in the future. I don't even know if I wanna use what's left of it. I may end up giving it away.

Walgreens Review!

Let's start with the pro's of this store. Sometimes they have products that other stores don't carry. IE. Yes To Carrots Lip Butter (they have the widest selection), they also have the balms. I know Target carries the widest variety of Yes To products, but they don't carry any of the lip products at all. Walmart carries the Mint and Berry and one or two of the balms. Walgreens also sometimes offers a buy 1 get 1 50% off deal, depending on what it is you're shopping for.

Now for the con's. I've noticed that the prices sometimes can be unreasonably higher than say, Target or Walmart. I really don't care for that. If it's way higher than I can get elsewhere, I will just walk out. Why spend way more money there for the exact same product I can get for less somewhere else? I rarely find their prices fair. If it's only a dollar difference, then I don't mind just spending. Considering in the area I live, there's a Walgreens one mile from me. The closest Target is 10-15 mins away.

In short. I don't really care for this store unless I know a product is the same price as Target. The make up they sell is ridiculously higher than at Target or Walmart. The closest Walmart to me is about 25-30 mins away. It's worth the drive when I can get a fair price.

Yes To Grapefruit Body Crème Review!

I used this for the first time today and I'm already in love! It's a nice thick body creme, but it's not heavy at all. I thought $10 for a 6oz was a little high, but honestly, I will absolutely repurchase! You really don't need very much to cover a large amount of skin area. So it's worth the money. Also, how can you not love something that's organic? I didn't think I would like it as much as I do, but it's terrific! It feels amazing! It smells good too! It says it's for spot correcting, but I wanted something thick, that's why I chose this one. Plus I figured grapefruit scent would be amazing, and it is! I wanna try the Yes To Carrots Super Rich Body Butter next! I've heard nothing but amazing things about it!

Girl Code Review!

This show is absolutely hilarious! Girl comedians are asked questions. It sounds lame, but it is truly hysterical! It's on MTV. You have to look into it if you haven't already. They say the craziest things. Jessimae Peluso is my favorite, but they're all really funny. Again, if you haven't already, check this show out. It's at least good for a few laughs.

EOS Lip Balm Review!

If you've read my other blogs, you know I don't really like this. I was excited when I first discovered them. I was ringing out at Walmart when I noticed them sitting there. I got the summer fruit and loved it. After that I collected all of the lip balms. It's too bad I didn't know before buying all of them what was gonna happen. Now I always use lip products during the day, even if I'm just hanging out at home. Before I didn't wear anything on my lips at home. Last summer I did though because the fan was drying them out. After I used them on a regular basis, they completely dried my lips out. It was gross, my top lip was white and scaly looking. That has never happened before in my life and ever since I stopped using EOS lip balm, it has never happened again. I'm not sure if it's the fact that they only have a few organic ingredients (especially compared to Yes To Carrots lip butter) or what, but something in them freaked my lips out. I would not purchase these again, though the scents are fabulous. I also didn't like how thin it was when it was on my lips. I had to swipe multiple times before I would feel satisfied with the amount covering my lips. I'm also looking to give away the unopened ones I have lol. Perhaps for an add on for birthday gifts or something. We'll see lol. I know a lot of people love this lip balm and I'm happy for the people that it worked out for.

Yes To Grapefruit Facial Scrub Review!

I used this scrub for the first time today and I LOVE it! The beads in it are super small, so I feel like it really gets in there to clear out your pores and scrub the dead skin off. My face was super smooth afterward. It smells really nice too. I got mine at Target for $10. I do think that's a little high for a 4oz tube, but it is organic. I'm sure I'll end up purchasing it again when I feel like splurging again. Yes To really is an amazing line!

Yes To Tomatoes Towelettes Review!

I just bought these yesterday and tried one. I didn't really get it for the acne part of it, I got it for the blackhead part! It's supposed to clear out blackheads and help prevent them. It also gets rid of oil on your face and clears your pores. I don't care for the smell, but I think these are gonna work beautifully! After I ate something that normally makes my face somewhat oily, I used an oil blotting sheet like I normally do. There was hardly any oil on my face at all! (I had used the towelette before I even made anything to eat). I'm excited to see how well these work. I think $5.99 for 25 towelette's is a little much, but if it works then it just might be worth it!

*I got mine at Target, but I've also seen them at Walmart and Walgreens.

Pretty Little Liars Review!

I know this show targets a younger crowd, but I love it! I'm in my mid-twenties and I think this show rocks. It's like a mystery movie every week. I haven't been able to watch the season premiere yet, but it's waiting in my DVR for after I get home from work today. Can't wait! I bet it's amazing. My favorite character is Aria. Lucy Hale is the reason I was interested in checking this show out when they showed the very first previews for it way back when. If you haven't looked into it just because it's on the family channel and you think you're too old for it, you're wrong! I think almost anyone could enjoy this show!

A Cry in the Night Review!

By Mary Higgins-Clark. This book is really good. It was published back in the 80's though and it shows in the writing, how she describes the clothes, hair, etc. It's worth the read though. It's mysterious and eerie. There are some twists and turns. And some parts where you wanna smack the main character right across the face lol. I don't wanna give away details. But if you like Mary Higgins-Clark, or you like mystery books, you should check this one out!

It's about a girl named Jenny who has two daughters. She falls in love with an artist and marries him within a month of knowing him. She moves from New York with her two girls to Minnesota to be with her seemingly perfect new husband. She discovers things are most certainly not as they seem pretty quickly. Some things really are too good to be true.

Neosporin Overnight Lip Therapy Review!

Last summer I was using EOS lip balm on a regular basis. It completely dried my lips out and nothing I already had worked. I went to Target and got the Neosporin lip line, there's a balm for the day and one for the night. It says after 3 days and 3 nights you'll notice an improvement. I sure did! After one day and night I noticed a difference, but continued to use them for the 3 days. I stopped using the day one after that point (it has SPF in it and I hate that because it makes balms taste gross usually). I still use the night one every single night though. It's nice and thick, but doesn't feel heavy. It protects and moisturizes lips all night. I will continue to use this product every night for a long time to come! It's amazing!

Carmex Lip Conditioner Review!

I was at Walmart one day browsing in the cold/flu aisle where most of the lip products are when I noticed something new from Carmex. Carmex Lip Conditioner. Since it was an orange flavor I was intrigued, considering all of their "flavors" consist of gross medicine-like flavors. It was only $.98, so I thought "Oh, why not?" I ended up really loving it. One cool thing about it is it doesn't sit on your lips, it actually absorbs. It's more like a lotion for lips. It's really cool. I haven't been using it as much as I did before though, now that I have my Yes To Carrots Lip Butter. I still like it though and would recommend it. It makes your lips feel amazing.

Yes To Carrots Lip Butter Review!

The first time I ever saw this stuff was while I was browsing through reviews on Influenster's site. I had never heard of it before. Months later, I was getting some things at Walmart. When I put something I needed in my cart, I was about to continue on when I saw an end cap that had Yes To Carrots Lip Butter on it. I thought "No way!" so I grabbed the Berry one to try. I have tried organic lip balms before (EOS lip balm) and when I used it on a regular basis it dried my lips out. I was a little hesitant to get another organic lip item. This stuff has more ingredients than EOS does though, which I think is working in my favor. It's also a lip butter, not a balm, so I don't need to apply as often. It's rich and thick, and feels amazing on lips. It isn't heavy. After trying the Berry one for a day or two, I went back for more! I wanted to try some of the other flavors they offer, so I got Mint, Melon, and Pomegranate. I'm also going to try their Yes To Blueberries deep wrinkle night cream, Yes To Grapefruit body butter, and Yes To Grapefruit face scrub. I will be adding those reviews after I try them! Super excited!

Resident Evil: Retribution Review!

I really love these movies. Alice is such a bad ass! This one is my favorite so far. Although it is somewhat tied with the one right before this one. They're so action packed and exciting! If you're into these movies you have to check this one out. I don't wanna give too many details away =).

Victoria's Secret Review!

I used to absolutely love this store. Most of the shirts, sweat pants, and underwear I own are from there. But as I have gotten older (I'm in my mid-twenties now) I'm much more budget minded, and this store doesn't fit into that. The only time I go in now is when they're having their Semi Annual Sale. I love their styles, don't get me wrong, but I'm not willing to pay for the VS name anymore. Their prices are ridiculous and sometimes outrageous. I don't need a $50 bra. I've gotten bra's from Target and I find them just as good, just as cute, and way more affordable. I find their clothes adorable too, but I'm not paying $70 for a pair of sweat pants. You can get good quality sweat pants at Target for around $20. I'm not a cheap person at all, but I know when to cut my losses. Sometimes it's just not worth it to pay for their name. You can get things that are just as good for a lesser price. So why not go that route? I know a lot of people LOVE them and will continue to buy from them. I say to each their own!

Vaseline Petroleum Jelly Review!

I was using it only on my lips for a long time, but these days I've been using my Carmex Lip Conditioner and Yes To Carrots Lip Butter during the day and Neosporin Overnight Renewal Therapy at night. For some reason that I am still unsure of, the sides of my nose would peel and flake. Also the inside of my right ear in the little crevice above the lobe. Ever since I've used my petroleum jelly on it, it no longer flakes! So happy!

*I will do separate reviews for the lip products at a later time.*

Avon Black Head Eliminating Deep Treatment Mask Review!

I decided to give it a try when I saw it in the Avon catalog. It was on sale for $4, couldn't really beat that! It's a light blue mask. You put a decent amount on your face, wait 5 minutes, or until it turns white, then wipe it off with a damp towel. This mask gets super hard, it kind of feels like it's sucking your brain out through your face (any Roseanne fans in the house? lol). It takes on a paper mache feel, almost as if you have a giant pore strip on your face. I have noticed that there aren't as many black heads on my face, especially my nose. If you have black heads, this stuff is worth a try! It works and it's affordable.

NYC New York Color Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm Review!

I could not do the video that was requested for my NYC Applelicious Brand Challenge on Influenster since my audio doesn't work =(. So I'm doing a blog instead. I, of course, got this complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. I LOVE this stuff! It could stand to taste better, but everything else about it is amazing. It smells good, it feels good, the color is nice, but sheer. I totally love it!

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure Review!

The info for these state this: No glue, no drying time, rivals the best gel polish, won't damage nails, easy to remove, lasts up to a week.

I received these complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Now for my review: Their statement is correct that there is no drying time, won't damage nails, and easy to remove. However, I have to disagree with the rest. First of all, no, there is no glue YOU apply personally, but there is glue on the nail, obviously, how else would they stick? The glue is a super thick layer, so the nails don't lay flat. I also have a problem with them because they are too short for my natural nail. AND my nature nail unfortunately is more flat than round, so it was totally obvious fake nails were there. They certainly do not last a week. I would say a few hours to a day tops, for myself. I've heard others say they lasted longer, but very few have said they lasted a week for them. I'm sorry to give these a poor review, but these are not worth the money. Sorry.

Secret Outlast Clear Gel Review!

I'm not a huge fan of gel deodorants, but this one really isn't that bad. I got this complimentary from Influesnter for testing purposes in my Spring Fever Voxbox. I still prefer my Dove deodorants over this. I like how Dove is solid. I also prefer the scents Dove offers and I feel like it protects much better than Secret does. Sorry I can't give this deodorant a better review, but I just can't. It works decent, but Dove is still much better in my opinion.

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara Review!

Maybelline, hands down, has to be my favorite make up. This mascara though, is not a favorite. It's not bad though. I bought it to try it and I'm gonna use it. It isn't their best one though, that's for sure. My favorite mascara by them so far has to be either the One By One or Colossal. Mega Plush is a cool concept though. It doesn't make your lashes as brittle or hard as other mascaras do. I find flakes on my face a few times a day though. But it isn't horrible. I may consider purchasing it again in the future.

Avon Paraffin Moisture Treatment Mask Review!

I ordered this stuff from Avon a few weeks back. It was on sale. $3 for a 5oz jar. I figured I might as well try it. Since I work in retail and am always on my feet, I love to have stuff for my feet. I have completely fallen in love with this stuff! It is absolutely amazing. You put a thick layer on your feet (they say to wrap your feet in a hot towel, but I skip that part) you leave it on for 5 minutes then wipe it off. My feet always feel so silky soft and smooth afterward! It really puts the moisture back in your feet. My Avon lady said this is an item that Avon always offers, not a limited time item, so you guys should check it out if you like foot care items!
