Wet n Wild Fergie Eye Shadow Primer Review!

I was really disappointed when I used my NYC eye shadow primer for the second time and my eye shadow creased in about an hour. I needed to order some things on Walgreens.com, so I ordered the Wet n Wild primer too. I used it yesterday for the first time. I had my make up on for 11 hours. 11 hours later, my eye shadow still looked fresh and looked as if I just put it on. I was very impressed! It preps and primes and never creases! You can find this wonderful primer at Walgreens for $4.99. I got it while it was on sale for $3.74. I ordered two of them and will for sure be buying more in the future! Hopefully it doesn't get discontinued. I noticed that happens with a lot of Wet n Wild products. I'll have to stock up... lol.

Yes To Carrots Nourishing Shampoo & Pampering Conditioner Review!

I tried this shampoo and conditioner tonight and oh my goodness! It is FANTASTIC! My hair is always soft and silky, usually feels very light too, but after using this stuff, it's even SOFTER! I didn't think it was possible lol. You can find this at Target, but I actually ordered mine on yestocarrots.com. They have a deal where you can get the shampoo, conditioner, and anti frizz serum for $19.99! Really good deal considering it's organic! The shampoo is 99.4% natural and the conditioner is 99.8%! I would absolutely purchase this again! Oh, I should note the caps. Many, many people have complained that you can't squeeze anything out of the caps! It is most certainly true... You have to screw the top off and squeeze it into your hand that way. However, Yes To has mentioned more than once on their Facebook page that they're currently working on brand new caps for their shampoo's, conditioner's, body washes, etc. So be on the look out if you're already a fan. If you aren't a fan yet, you should try this shampoo and conditioner! You won't be sorry you did!

Trust Review!

I taped this movie on the Lifetime Movie Network a couple weeks ago. It was pretty good! It was about a 14 year old girl who met a boy named Charlie online. They had talked online for a while, then exchanged numbers to text and call each other. They eventually got really flirty and dirty. After a couple months of interacting he asked if she wanted to meet in person. At first she didn't want to, but decided to meet him at a mall. When he approached her, her face looked like it melted. He was not the 20 year old college student he claimed to be, he was in his late 30's! He ended up convincing her that they were soul mates, and age shouldn't matter when you have a connection like that. He brought her back to his hotel room and gave her underwear to try on. She ended up sleeping with him. Her friend told their principal at school about it since she worked in the mall and saw them together. So her parents found out and FREAKED out! Of course... What parent wouldn't?! They had her see a therapist and everything. They kept calling it rape and it would really aggravate her because she felt it was consensual since she thought she loved him. Later the police showed her three pictures of other girls and asked if she knew them. She said no and they informed her that "Charlie" did the same thing to those girls as well. It finally clicked for her that it WAS rape. She tried to kill herself by taking a bottle of prescription meds. Her dad found her in the bathtub and stuck his finger down her throat to make her vomit the pills back out before they rushed her to the hospital. She was okay. They end the movie showing "Charlie" with his wife and son. They ran into one of his students! Yes... He was a teacher! How disgusting is that? The police weren't able to get him for anything. So they ended it with "Charlie" being free.

Schwarzkopf Repair Rescue Review!

Yet again this was a product that was in my mega voxbox. It says on the front... Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure hair therapy amino cell rebuild repair rescue sealed ends treatment for damaged ends. So basically it helps keep split ends at bay lol. I've used it since I got it (Sept 16th). So far so good! My ends look nice and healthy, no split ends that I can see. This product teamed with my Pantene beautiful lengths shampoo and conditioner is keeping my ends healthy. Depending on which site you go to, the prices for this 2.6 oz tube range from $13-$20. I don't really have $20 to blow on a 2.6 oz tube of hair product lol. I probably won't purchase it just because of the price, but I'm so happy it came in my box for me to try. I really do like it. It's a nice consistency and doesn't smell bad.

CSI Season Premiere Review!

What a great premiere! Luckily they did a "previously on..." because I forgot pretty much everything that had happened all those months ago lol. Of course they make it really intense right from the jump. They started us off at a funeral, then after a few minutes it says "3 days earlier..." so you spend the episode wondering who died! Knowing that Morgan and Ellie were abducted and being held somewhere by the killer who staged his victims to look like pictures from the 9 circles of hell. So right away you're thinking Morgan is probably the one in the casket. She managed to break free from her restraint and do a little harm to the murderer and locked HIM in the restraint. Her and Ellie ran. Then Ellie says "I think there was another girl." Right away I'm thinking... What?! No there isn't... I never heard/saw another girl... Why is Ellie being so weird?! When Morgan runs back in to look for another girl, she see's that the murderer is no longer in the room where she had hurt him and he isn't in the restraint anymore. She runs back out and has a tussle with him. Ellie shoots him. While Morgan is thanking Ellie for coming back to help her, she turns to walk away and Ellie shoots her! So that's where you're really thinkin "Yup, that must be Morgan in the casket." Luckily Ellie wasn't a very good shot. The cops show up and get Morgan to the hospital. Ellie tells them that the murderer attacked Morgan and ended up shooting her, and Ellie had grabbed the gun and shot him while he was fighting with Ellie. Well they found evidence to the contrary while Morgan was in surgery. Sara also found pics of Ellie WITH the murderer in his phone. She was dating the guy... And she was part of all those murders. Who would have guessed! The person in the casket was Ellie's mother. Ellie went home before she was arrested and killed her mom. She was gonna kill her dad, Jim, too, but she didn't have the guts. The cops broke in before she could get enough courage to do it. Crazy start to a wonderful season!

*You can see new episode's Wednesday's on CBS at 10/9c.

Sleepy Hollow Review!

I've only watched the premiere episode so far. The second episode is in my DVR and ready to be watched, I just haven't gotten around to it just yet lol. After seeing these previews I was really excited! I like those creepy, spooky, weird shows like American Horror Story. This show is unique since Icabod Crane is the main character! I like the girl who plays Abbie Mills too, she's good. So in the first episode we see Icabod coming out of the ground. Then he wanders around, curious why everything looks so different to him. We later find out that Icabod was frozen all those years before. When he cut off the headless horseman's head, their blood blended together and bonded him. So when the headless horseman was summoned and riding again, Icabod also awoke. I liked the way they ended the first episode! It was so creepy and spooky! I loved it! With all of that being said, it is a little confusing and hard to follow. They had a lot going on in the first episode. I'm sticking with it though, I'm sure once we get used to the characters and the story it will be a lot easier to follow.

*You can check it out Monday's on Fox at 9/8c!

Hostages Review!

When I saw the previews for this new series it looked pretty exciting! After watching the first episode, I think we're in for an awesome season. The only problem I have with shows like these is they seem like they would be better off if they were movies. I mean how do you keep the excitement up? How do you keep the show going? Missing was another show that would have been better off a movie. They ended it on a cliff hanger and ABC decided to shut the show down. If it were a movie it would have either ended the same way and they would have done a sequel, or they would have ended it differently and satisfied the viewers. Anyhow, back to Hostages. It's about a woman who is a successful doctor. She was chosen to operate on the President. A former FBI hostage negotiator got a band of people together (4 of them total) to basically watch the doctor and her family's every move. When they felt the time was right, they ambushed them in their home and they're holding them hostage. They want the doctor, who was set to operate on the President the next day, to empty this vile into the President which will shut his organs down and kill him. They haven't established WHY these people want the President dead yet. Hopefully soon they will though, because it's really confusing. I mean these people break into this sweet doctor's home and start threatening to kill her family if she doesn't kill him. It doesn't really make sense yet. The only facts we're given are the FBI hostage negotiator's (I said former earlier since it hasn't been established if he's still working there) wife has cancer and isn't doing very well. I have no idea what that has to do with the President though... Hopefully this will become clearer as the season goes on. Oh and for the record, she gave the President a blood thinner so that she wouldn't be able to operate on him period. It said at the end on the "news" that he would have to try again for the operation the following week. So looks like she's gonna be one of those tough girls =).

*You can check it out on CBS at 10/9c on Monday's.

Shea Moisture Baby Eczema Bar Soap Review!

Once again, this was one of the items in the mega voxbox I won from Influenster for placing 3rd in the Lifeway Kefir photo contest. I've never heard of Shea Moisture before, but apparently they're an organic line. I really like that! This bar soap has organic raw shea butter, argan oil, and extracts from frankincense and myrrth. It does say it's for babies, but I use it on my own eczema. I use it in the shower. I just rub my hands on it to lather it up and then rub my hands over my eczema. It feels pretty nice. I'm not sure how much it actually helps. The eczema on my shins is the most sensitive area. Probably because I shave. It does feel like it moisturizes my skin. I hope this bar soap lasts a while! I know you can purchase this line at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS. This particular bar soap is $4.99. I think I would purchase it in the future.

NYC Show Time Sparkle Eyeliner Review!

I actually won TWO of these! The first one I won because I won a Brand Challenge from the Spring Fever voxbox from Influenster. I won the NYC Badge. The prize was this eyeliner. I also got it in the mega voxbox I won for placing 3rd in the Lifeway Kefir photo contest! Yay! Anyhow lol. I like this eyeliner a lot! The sparkle in it is really subtle (both prizes came in Show Time Black). The only problem that I have with it is that it smudges and ends up under my eyebrow lol. I try to do a thinner line when I use this eyeliner so that doesn't happen, but I find it kind of difficult. I would probably purchase this again. I mean it's only $1.99. I normally use NYC eyeliner anyway. I get the pencil that costs $0.99. I do kind of like Avon's eyeliner though. The "self sharpening" kind. I did a review on the Cosmic one I got of those. I REALLY like that a lot! I might stick to that. Not sure...

NYC Sparkle Eye Dust: Amethyst Dazzle Review!

I wanted to do a review separately since I wore this one to work today. Before I had just tried them on briefly and wiped them off. At first I was unsure about the color, however I do really like that you can put some on your lid and then kind of decide how dark or light you want it to be. I went on the lighter side. After having it on for a while I really loved it. I think I just am not used to other colors. I always wear brown & white (brown on lid and crease, white from inside corner of eye to outer eyebrow), have for years. So it was just really different. It's such a gorgeous color though! It looked so good with my face completely done (foundation, blush, eyeliner, mascara). I really love this color! I would get it again! Now I'm contemplating getting the Aquamarine Sparkle. Even though I don't think green would look good on me (I didn't think purple would either).

*You can get these at walgreens.com for $2.99. I saw online Walmart has the Aquamarine Sparkle in stores, I'm not sure why that's the only color listed...

Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea Shower Gel Review!

Since I placed 3rd in the Lifeway Kefir photo contest that Influenster had, they sent me a mega voxbox! One of the items included was a mini (3oz) shower gel. Sweet Pea is an okay scent. I don't think it's bad, I don't think it's good. I will use it because I'm not a wasteful person lol. I've never really purchased anything in the Sweet Pea scent except soap. I do enjoy the shower gel though. Since the fragrance only lasts while you're in the shower, you don't have to worry about layering with the same scent to match or anything. It smells good in the shower. I don't think I would want the lotion or mist, but I do like the shower gel.

*You can get these at Bath & Body Works for $5 each. There is normally a 3 for $10 deal.

Vitabath Fragrance Mist: Grapefruit Vanilla Review!

I got this mist from Influenster for placing 3rd in their Lifeway Kefir photo contest. I received an amazing mega voxbox! I just tried this mist out yesterday. It smells so yummy! I love grapefruit and vanilla, I never would have thought to put them together, but it smells fantastic! Since it's a mist it doesn't really last long, but that was okay yesterday since I was just going to Walgreen's minute clinic to get tested/treated for strep throat (total sadness =( lol). I still smelled it on my shirt when I got home about an hour-hour and a half later.

Antioxidant rich superfruit blend: Acai, Goji, Coffee, Noni, Pomegranate, Green Tea, and Mangosteen. Vitamin's A, B3, C, E, and Pro-Vitamin B5: Skin conditioning nutrients enrich the formula.

*I've never seen/heard of this product before, but you can get it at Walgreens.com. An 8oz for $9.99, currently on sale for $7.99.

NYC Individual Eyes Custom Compact Review!

This was part of the mega voxbox I won from Influenster for placing 3rd in a photo contest they had (I'll probably mention that in each blog for the products in the box). They sent me Smokey Charcoals. It comes with a primer, an illuminator, applicator, and it has a white eye shadow for highlighting, light grey for all over your lids, a darker grey for the crease, and a black eye shadow for the outside corner of your eye. I'm not very good at it yet lol. So I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet. The colors are beautiful though!

Goody QuickStyle Half-Round Brush Review!

Not too long ago I was a lucky winner of a mega voxbox from Influenster! I placed third in a photo contest they had. My box included: The Goody brush, Shea Moisture baby eczema bar soap, a split end hair treatment, NYC Sparkle Eye Dust in Smokey Topaz, NYC eye shadow kit, Head & Shoulders Damage Rescue shampoo and conditioner, grapefruit and vanilla body spray, Always Radiant Infinity Pads, Sweet Pea mini shower gel, IMpress press on nails, NYC Showtime Glitter Eyeliner! TONS of goodies! I will do a review on each, starting with the Goody brush.

I tried it today after my shower. I really like it. It has fibers on it that are supposed to help dry your hair faster. I used it while I was blow drying my hair (since on the back of the package, they suggest you use it that way). It helps my hair not only dry faster, but takes some of the wave out so it's even easier to straighten. I'm glad it came in my box for me to try, I would consider buying it in the future.

*They cost $11.95 at Target.

NYC Sparkle Eye Dust Review!

I know this was part of the Paradise Voxbox from Influenster (I didn't get that one =(, sad lol). I saw tons of women raving about how much they loved it. So I tried looking online to see who carried these. I found them on Walgreens.com, but it said "Not sold in stores", so I just ordered them online. There were 9 options online, though it seems they have 10 colors now. I ordered 8. The blue was the only one I didn't order, but apparently there's a sea foam green color now also. I got: Opal Sparkle (white), Golden Champagne, Pink Topaz, Smokey Topaz, Amber Glitz, Bronze Shimmer, Amethyst Dazzle, Diamond Dust (silver). I usually use a brown color on my lid and crease, and then use a white color for under my eyebrow. I've been wanting to play with different colors though, so what better time? I like Pink Topaz, Amethyst Dazzle, and Golden Champagne the most. They are so gorgeous! I didn't think purple or pink would look good on me, but if you only put a little of the purple on it looks light and pretty. The pink seems to be brown based, so it looks very pretty on! Not a bright, scary pink lol. Scary for my skin tone anyway, I'm pretty light. I love all of them though and they're only $2.99! Can't beat that! I was originally only gonna get 4 colors (Pink Topaz, Smokey Topaz, Amethyst Dazzle, and Golden Champagne), but you get free shipping for $25 and over. With the other things that were in my cart already, I would have been at $25 after shipping and tax, so I thought "Why not?!"

UPDATE:
I was wrong about the blue and green colors. Aquamarine Sparkle is the green and Brilliant Sapphire is the blue. The blue one is the one not available on Walgreens.com. Just to clear that up!

Pantene Beautiful Lengths Shampoo & Conditioner Review!

Since I'm trying to grow my hair out, I really wanted to try this shampoo and conditioner! It's supposed to help keep split ends from, well, splitting. It smells so good! I tried it for the first time today. However, when I purchased it at Target (22.8oz shampoo for $5, 12.6oz conditioner for $3.49) I accidentally picked the shampoo and conditioner 2-n-1. I just wanted the shampoo, since I like to use my conditioner separately so I can leave it in my hair for a few minutes. I didn't exchange it though because I figured if I use the 2-n-1 and then use my conditioner, my hair would get 2 times as much conditioner as it usually does lol. My hair does feel super soft! The scent is awesome. Now to see if it really does keep split ends at bay!

The White Queen Review!

I usually don't care for shows/movies set back in this time period. I thought I would give this show a chance though since the previews for it looked so cool. It's about Queen Elizabeth II. Apparently it's based on numerous books. Since I'm not someone who is overly familiar with this time period, I very much enjoy this show. I see a lot of people complaining of inaccuracies. Lucky me, I wouldn't know lol. So I can just enjoy. I really do like it a lot. It has a lot of action and suspense. Romance. Nudity... In case you need to be warned about that lol. You can catch new episodes on Starz Saturday's at 9/8c.

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection Review!

My dad got an Xbox a while back so he decided to give me his PS2. We had a lot of games for it, but the other day (for some reason I don't recall lol) I was thinking about how when I was a kid we used to play Street Fighter II on Nintendo. So I jumped on Amazon.com to see if they had any Street Fighter games for PS2. They sure did! I went with the Anniversary Collection since you get both Street Fighter II and Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike on one disk. I was so excited! It came yesterday so I tried it out. Street Fighter II was super difficult to play on PS2. I was so disappointed. I always pick Chun Li since she was the only woman back in the day. It's really hard to get her to do her lightening kicks on PS2! I have no idea why lol. It was frustrating. So I tried Street Fighter 3, which I have never played before. That one is so much fun! I picked Chun Li and she's so cool! They updated her and gave her some cool new moves. Yet kept her in her classic blue outfit (you can also pick that same outfit in purple, grey, and green), her classic spike bracelets, and her hair is classic too. I had a lot of fun with that one! Glad I bought it!

I got it on Amazon.com for $16.43 (including tax & shipping)

Four Weddings Review!

I do like watching this show. Even if it isn't a show I would typically watch. It's pretty entertaining. It's unique too, which is why I like it most. Since four brides go to each other's weddings and rate them on certain things (dress, food, venue, and overall experience). The winner gets a honeymoon. If you're into these kinds of shows I think you'd enjoy this one. New episodes are on TLC at 10/9c.

Remington Shine Therapy Conditioning Flat Iron Review!

I adore this flat iron! Hands down my favorite out of all the one's I've had. I used to always use Chi flat irons. They're wonderful, don't get me wrong. But they are made HORRIBLY! After 6 months, like clockwork for every single Chi flat iron I had (at least 5), it would just not turn on one day. I'm very careful with my flat iron's, especially Chi flat irons since they're so expensive! So I have no idea why they stop working. I've read online that a LOT of people have had the same problem. I've had my Remington for roughly a year and a half. I couldn't love it more! I would definitely buy another one! They're half the price (if not more) than a Chi and it is WAY better quality. I got mine at Target for $50. I'd also like to try the Frizz Therapy and I've seen a Keratin Therapy one before also. I really like the Shine Therapy a lot though. It's amazing!

This flat iron shows the temperature digitally. Which is cool, because Chi has never had a flat iron like that, even for all the money they want for one. Ridiculous! It also will turn itself off if it hasn't been touched for... an hour? I think it is. I never use that feature, I always turn my flat iron off and unplug it when I'm done straightening my hair. Don't be fooled because this flat iron is only $50, it is amazing! You won't regret buying one!

Yes To Blueberries Softening Facial Exfoliator Review!

I love, love, love this scrub! It's so amazing. When I smelled it in the bottle, I didn't care for the scent, but when I put it on my fingers it smelled SO good! Maybe the plastic made it smell weird, I'm not sure. It smells terrific though. The beads in it are small too, so I feel like they really get down deep into your pores and scrub them clean. After sloughing off all my dead skin, my face was so soft. I used it before I went to bed, so I followed it with my YTB night cream. My face was so soft, I woke up and it was still as smooth as the night before. Before you couldn't find this in stores, but I saw it at Target the other day. I ordered mine online before I realized Target now carries it! $9.99 for a 3.38oz, but it's a 99% natural product, so worth every penny in my opinion! Love this scrub, check it out!

Hotmail.com Review!

Hotmail has been my email since I was about 12. I'm 24 now and still love it. It's come a long way. I've had other email accounts, but never closed my Hotmail one, and it's still my main email. I like how it filters my mail so the junk goes to the junk folder and my other email is in my inbox. I also like that you can specify what is junk and what isn't, and also how strong your filter is. I'll probably always have the same email! lol.

Killer Kids Review!

I watched this show for the first time last week. I've decided to DVR the new episodes. It's a pretty interesting show. The one I watched told three separate stories about teenagers who killed. It was horrible, but good to know that the victims got justice in the end since their murderers went down for it. The one I saw was about teenagers who worshiped the devil. The murders they committed were "sacrifices", that's how they saw it anyway. If you're interested in these kinds of shows, you should check it out. It comes on Lifetime Movie Network Sundays at 9/8c.

Up & Up Allergy and Cold Relief Review!

I always get this instead of Benadryl. It's the exact same thing, but for less! I bought it in the first place for my eczema. I read that Benadryl helps with "night scratching", which is exactly what it sounds like, scratching in your sleep. I take it when I have a bad flare up and am really itchy. It helps tremendously. I also take it when I feel weird, like a cold may be coming on or allergies are acting up. I love that it's good for BOTH allergies AND colds. They feel the exact same to me, so I'm never sure which is causing me to feel bad. It's awesome to have both covered with one pill. Up & Up, of course, is Target's store brand. I get these little beauties for less than $3 when they're full priced. I got a box of 24 on sale yesterday for less than $2! Can't beat it!

Cold Justice Review!

This is a new show that premiered on TNT last Tuesday at 10/9c. I taped it and just watched it last night. It's so good! It's a reality crime series. The first episode was about a woman who supposedly committed suicide. The officer who worked the case didn't believe it was a suicide, he thought she was murdered. The evidence at the time pointed towards suicide, so the case was closed in 2001 (I believe). He reopened it in 2008, but it went cold. So he called in Kelly Siegler, a DA who has worked over 70 cases and not lost a single one, and Yolanda McClary, a CSI who has worked over 7,000 crime scenes. The two women called in a homicide detective to do the interrogations. They had enough evidence to send the case to trial. It was indeed a homicide. Her boy friend shot her in the head. This time he went down for it!

Avon Foot Works: Papaya Sorbet Review!

I got this scent in the foot scrub and cooling foot lotion. I use the foot scrub in the shower. You only need a small amount to scrub and exfoliate your whole foot. The scent is fantastic! I love it! I use the cooling foot lotion when I get out. It's a thin consistency, but it does have a slight cooling effect. I got them when they were on sale for $3 each! I'm not sure if this scent is still available or not. I think it may have been a spring/summer scent.

Avon Tweezers Review!

I was browsing through one of the Avon catalogs when I noticed these CUTE tweezers that were pink with silver swirls on them. They were on sale for $0.99! So I ordered them. I wasn't sure what kind of quality to expect, but they are wonderful! They have a little weight to them too, which makes me feel like they're not cheap quality. They pluck my eyebrows wonderfully. I love these tweezers! For sure worth the 99 cents I spent on them!

Yes To Baby Carrots Towelette's Review!

These towelette's are for babies, but I'm not gonna lie, I bought them for myself! The skin on my face can be sensitive sometimes, so I thought it would be nice to have something really gentle. It is very gentle indeed! It leaves my face feeling soft and oil free too. I really dislike the scent though. It's very strong and overpowering in my opinion. I don't think I would get these again just because of the scent. YTB towelette's are very gentle too, so I'll just stick to those! I bought them online for $5.99 (30 count).

Dr. Pepper Review!

I adore Dr. Pepper lol. It's one of my favorite drinks. I love the flavors they blended together. So tasty! I'm sure almost everyone on the planet has tried Dr. Pepper lol. I get the cases of 24 at Walmart for less than $7. Not a bad price!

Gilmore Girl's Review!

I know this show ended in 2007, but I love it so much I decided to do a review anyway! I always watch the reruns and I can never get enough. I'm sad they ended this one. I guess they felt like they couldn't really move the show any further than they did. If you have never seen it (whats wrong with you?! lol, jk). It's about a woman who had her daughter at age 16. When the first episode aired, Rory (the daughter) was already in high school. It's so fun to watch! They're both really witty and clever. It's hilarious! They play the reruns on ABC Family every morning at 11/10c. I never miss an episode =)!
