NYC Liquid Lip Shine: Nude York City Review!

I think this shade and the Brighton Beach Peach are my favorites! Rivington Rose is up there in my favs too! I really like the nude because it looks really subtle on your lips (obviously lol), but you still get the shine/shimmer. I also love that NYC flavored all of these the same (though I do think making peach, peach flavored, etc. would have been a better idea). All of them smell/taste like candy. Which is fine. I think this color looks really pretty on my lips and I absolutely love it! And for such a cheap price! You just can't beat it!

*You can find these at Target (and other retailers that carry NYC products) for about $1.98!

Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Review!

Oh my goodness I LOVE these! I love peppermint bark period, but especially Ghirardelli's! It's not too hard like some come out sometimes. It's softer and soooooo yummy! Apparently there's a peppermint bark cheesecake?! What?! I really wanna try that! lol. But yeah, Ghirardelli comes out with these every holiday season. If you like peppermint bark, oh my gosh, you have to try it!

Target Loofah Review!

I normally used loofahs from Bath & Body Works, but I was at Target a while back and saw theirs. I picked a pretty deeper blue one. It has a silky feel to it. I absolutely love it! It still exfoliates your skin, but it's nice and gentle. I really like that it's silky. Right now mine is still in perfect shape since I just started using it after my B&BW one wore out lol. They're pretty cheap at Target too. Full priced they are, but you can even catch these on sales! Which makes it even better. I think I paid around $2-$3 for it. Great quality too, so don't let that fool you. If you like mesh loofah's, you should give Target's a try!

Blackberry Curve 9315 Review!

This phone was an early Christmas present from my mom =). We have T-mobile and now they offer a deal where you can pick any phone you want and make monthly payments on it, instead of paying the whole amount up front. Onto the phone! I love it! But that really isn't saying much since the phone I had before this I had for over 3 years and it was just a bar phone with a flip out keyboard. It didn't even have convo style texting. The screen was pretty small too. This phone is so awesome! I've never had a blackberry before, but I'm enjoying it so far. I'm a chronic texter so that's my favorite part of this phone. It offers convo style texting and you can set it to blink a certain LED color for certain people. The only thing I don't like about it is that T-mobile doesn't let you block calls. Which is especially annoying because my last, little nothing phone COULD block numbers. There was an option on my phone, I didn't have to pay anything extra or anything. So I don't understand why, with a better phone, I can't do the same thing. I like blocking unknown numbers and numbers I don't recognize. Sometimes they call early in the morning and wake me up. So that part of it is REALLY annoying lol. Because now if I wanna block calls, I'm gonna have to pay $5/month (which isn't much, but its annoying since I could do it for free with my last phone). The battery life on this phone rocks! I text like alllll day lol. I'm charging it now after almost 24 hours since it's last charge. Very impressive since my last phone's battery didn't last that long. I always charged it overnight. The screen is bigger than my last one for sure! Everything is pretty simple on this phone too, which is nice since I just got this phone yesterday and have almost everything figured out now = ). Thanks mom!

Influenster Review!

For those who don't know, I'm a member of Influenster! Influenster is a company that gives out boxes of free stuff in exchange for reviews on the products! You have to be invited to join (you can be invited by a friend or someone who is already an Influenster or you can request one from the website). It is hard work, but it's worth it. It's 100% free! After you're invited, you go to the website and connect all of your social networks (the more influence you have the better!) You then unlock life stage badges (you can unlock as many as you like) and then unlock expert badges (choose wisely! You only get 5, EVER). Your Influenster score is your rank among other Influensters, so it really doesn't change often. They base their decisions on demographics, age, location, and your expert badges. They will send you an email if you pre-qualify for a box, after taking the survey you hear back in about two weeks if you qualified (they want to make sure the box fits you before deciding if you should get it). I joined in March of this year. It took about a month and a half before I qualified for my first box. I've gotten 5 though! I love trying new things and reviewing them. It's a lot more fun than it sounds lol.

The Simpsons Review!

I've been watching this show for so long! It's as old as I am! lol. I still love it. I love that they never age, or change clothes... though that part of it is questionable lol. It's just a cartoon though, so who cares about stuff like that. Homer will always be my favorite! I LOVE HIM! He's so funny, he always makes me laugh. His scream and laugh are absolutely priceless.

*Yes they still make new episode's and you can catch them on Fox, Sunday's at 8/7c.

Rimmel London Stay Glossy 3D Lip Gloss: Popcorn For 2 Review!

I'm hearing most people say this is a pinkish shade. Which I found interesting! Online and in the pics I have on here, it DOES look a little pink. But in the tube and on my lips it looks more on the brown side, though in my opinion it's simply a nude. I really like these lip glosses. They claim to last 6 hours, I would say that's false. It lasts a decent amount of time though, but not 6 hours. The 3D shades are pretty fun. The originals just have your basic gold shimmer, but in the 3D's they used some blue, silver, gold, purple shimmer. I do hate the flavor/scent of these, but it does fade pretty quickly. For the price you really can't complain too much. You can find them at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, for around $4!

*If you'd like to check out ALL 6 of the shades Click here!

Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Review!

This is one of the best foundations I've ever used. It comes in like a jar with a twist off lid. There's a compartment that opens and stores an applicator. I only use the applicator to dab the foundation on my face, then I smooth it all in with my fingers. I use the Classic Ivory, it's a perfect match for my skin! It feels light as a feather too. I'm really curious about the new Fit Me stick foundations they have, but I really like this one!

*You can find them at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, for around $8.

Equate Omeprazole Delayed Release Acid Reducer Review!

I have acid reflux and normally take Equate Acid Reducer anyway. I usually get the regular acid reducer (not delayed release) for just under $8 and I always get the 150 count. Recently it seems I've been having more acid build up, so I was taking 2 acid reducers instead of 1 per day. While at Walmart, stocking up on more, I saw these Omeprazole Delayed Release 14 day treatment acid reducer. I figured I'd give it a shot! You take 1 pill everyday before your first meal for 14 days. After 14 days you should be good for 4 months! I hope it's true! I just started taking it yesterday. It says on the packaging it can take 1-4 days before you notice results, but I noticed them right away! I didn't have nearly as much acid build up as I normally do. It kept it in check all day AND all night! I'm really hoping this works for an extended period of time. I know of people who either got too used to these pills so they stopped working, or their acid reflux got worse, so they needed something stronger. I'm also looking into home remedies to help with it, if you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave a comment!

*You can find the Omeprazole 14 day treatment at Walmart for less than $7! No prescription needed!

Soft Soap Holiday Hand Soap Review!

Love it! I got Vanilla Cookie, Peppermint Candy Cane, and Red Berry Cobbler. They were on sale at Walmart for $0.98! Can't beat that! The Peppermint one looks like a moisturizing hand soap. The other two are just clear gel looking soaps. You get 5.5 oz. I like these soaps a lot. They smell just as good and work just as good as other hand soaps that cost more. The holiday ones are the best usually!

Bath & Body Works: Winter Spice & Vanilla Hand Soap Review!

This fragrance is from last year, but it smells so amazing! I'm a big vanilla person. It does smell similar to Warm Vanilla Sugar (that they always have) and this year it's similar to Vanilla Snowflake and Vanilla Wish. I have it in the foaming style. I like that with the foaming it doesn't get your sink all yucky, but it's easier to use the foaming faster. The deep cleansing style lasts a lot longer. I guess people don't push the pump all the way down for the deep cleansing, but they do for the foam (who can have too much foaming soap on their hands? lol). I suppose that's the thought process anyhow. I only get soap from Bath & Body Works every now and then. Since they do have great scents, but even on their deals it's still a little pricey. Especially since Soft Soap (which Target and Walmart carry) do holiday scented soaps as well for a much lower price. I actually got some today at Walmart for a buck! I'll do a review for those later = )

*The best soap deal would be 5/$15, 7/$20, but it's usually 4/$15, 6/$20.

Target Car Freshener Review!

In the small little car section that Target has, I picked the freshener that looked like cherries. It didn't really smell like cherries though. I hung it in my rear view mirror like you're supposed to. I know after a while you get used to the scent, but I didn't feel like I could smell it very long. Maybe a few days. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I know it was cheap. Guess in this case you do get what you pay for lol. I've tried other ones just thinking that scent was maybe too light. But they didn't seem to last very long either. I wouldn't recommend these. Especially because I drive a little 2 door. So it isn't that my car is just too big so there's too much for it to cover. I have a small backseat and the front of my car to cover lol. Not much at all.

Avon 7-in-1 Gel Nail Polish Review!

I saw this for the first time in Avon campaign 24. I was ordering other things and figured I'd give this polish a try. I've always wanted to try gel nail polish, but it seems to be a little costly. I got this polish for $6 (it's actually on an even better sale in campaign 25. $3.99!) I got it in Parfait Pink. I really like it a lot! The color is a nice bright/hot pink. With gel polish you don't need a base or top coat. My nails seem to be on the oily side though (they don't feel oily, but apparently they are lol) since nail polish peels right off. It lasts longer on my toe nails (which is why I only spend time on THEM! & not my finger nails lol). So I went ahead and used a base coat, 2 coats of the gel polish, and a Sally Hansen anti-chip top coat. So far so good. Usually polish lasts about 2 weeks on my toes before it starts to chip. I'm curious to see how long the gel will last. I do like it a lot though, and for $6, I mean that's really not bad! Considering OPI is $8 and up and that's just for regular nail polish.

Cortizone 10 With Aloe Creme Review!

This stuff is amazing! I use it after I shower and it really takes the itch out of my eczema and keeps it under control. It's a thick consistency, so a tiny bit goes a long way! I got a 2oz from Target for around $6! I thought it would cost around $8 for a 1oz, so I was definitely excited about that lol. It's also good for bug bites and things of that nature. Not only for eczema, but it is fantastic for it!

Facial Brightening Paper Rose Mask Review!

I don't remember the name of who makes these, but you can find them at Walmart in individual little packs. There's usually a display with a bunch of different kinds for $1.99. I got this one and an Avocado and Oatmeal clay mask. I haven't tried that one yet, but I tried the rose mask. Um. It was... Interesting... You open the pack and it is exactly what it says, a paper mask. That's covered in this serum. So you put it on your face and let it sit for 15 minutes. My eyes were burning by the end of it because the eye holes were so small that the serum was touching the corners of my eyes. I have skin that's more on the sensitive side and it literally felt like my skin was on fire when I took it off. You take it off and blend the remaining serum in. I'd say my face was really hot for about half an hour. I also looked like Hannibal Lecture the whole time I had it on lol. I would never buy that one again. I don't recommend it to those with sensitive skin!

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer: Nova Review!

This color is a baby pink. I thought I would really like it since I hit it off with the first one I bought (Stargazer). Well I was wrong. I really dislike this color a lot! But, again, I'm not a fan of lip colors since I like my natural color. I thought this color would be more sheer, but it does have a lot of pigment. I know a lot of girls like that, so I'm sure ya'll would love Nova if you like light pinks. Since Walgreens was still having Buy 1 Get 1 50% off for Rimmel London products, I also got Out Of This World and Comet in the lacquers. I returned them today. I don't like any of them. I'm just gonna stick with Stargazer. The other colors just don't work for me.

Dr. Scholl's Cozy Cushions Review!

I was so excited to be part of the #RoseVoxBox that I got complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. My box included cozy cushions. They're so awesome! So soft and comfy, but very warm too. Which is awesome during the colder months. My feet get cold fast, so it's really nice to have these! You do have to cut them to mold them to fit your shoes right. My feet are on the smaller side too, lol. I would recommend these to anyone who's feet get cold really fast. You can stick them in your boots to keep your feet warm and cozy!

*You can find them for around $9 at Target!

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer Review!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to try these or not since I'm more of a lip balm girl. I like lip gloss to dress up a look, but I wear my lip balm the most. For sure not a lip stick girl, since I like the natural color of my lips. These come in beautiful shades. I went with Stargazer, which is a gorgeous gold color. Gold seems to look really good with my skin tone and hair/eye color. It's a very smooth lacquer, not sticky or heavy at all. I really like the packaging too. It's really pretty and unique looking. They come in 13 shades, ranging from neutrals to pinks to reds to browns to golds. I haven't seen these at any stores other than Walgreens. They're $4.99 there. Right now Walgreens is having a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale for Rimmel London! You can pick between lip products, eye products, and nail products. If you're looking to check these out, I would do it now while you can buy 1 get 1 50% off!

Avon: Cranberry & Cinnamon Body Care Review!

I got the whole set last year for Christmas. I really like it! I love cinnamon, but it's usually too strong of a fragrance for me. Especially since it's so spicy, it really freaks my nose out. It seems they used a sweeter cinnamon for this fragrance. It smells so good! The cranberry is a great balance. I think every holiday season Avon comes out with a new winter fragrance. I didn't see the Cranberry & Cinnamon anymore, so they're only limited time. This year it's Winter Berry. I actually ordered that one since in the Avon Campaign 24 you can get 5 body care items for $10! Considering the sprays are $9 a piece full priced and the shower gel's and body lotion's are $6, you absolutely cannot beat that price! If you're interested, you should find an Avon consultant in your area. You can also check them out online!

Rimmel London Stay Glossy 3D Lip Gloss Review!

These are really nice! I wasn't sure if I'd like them or not. I really do though! They come in beautiful colors! I got Popcorn For 2 and Back Row Smooch. Popcorn For 2 is a nice nude color, but these have a lot of shimmer and shine, so it's noticeable you're wearing lip gloss lol. Back Row Smooch is a really pretty pink. Online it looks fuchsia and kind of scary lol. I don't like bright colors, I like nude/natural colors. But in person, it's just a gorgeous light pink. I thought I wanted Lights, Camera, Action. Online it looks like a really pretty neutral, but in person it's a bright orange! I also wanted Love At The Movies, which is a brown color, but Target didn't have that one =(. They only had a few of the 3D colors, the Stay Glossy regular glosses come in 18 different colors. I love that these aren't sticky! I hate sticky lip glosses. They claim to last 6 hours... They do, but it does fade some, the shimmer goes away, it gets a little sticky, and the pigment isn't as good. I would suggest throwing it in your bag to reapply at some point. Especially to keep it from getting sticky, if you don't like that. All in all these are great lip glosses!

*You can find them at Target and Walmart for $3.99!

Yes To Blueberries Eye Firming Treatment Review!

I recently made an order with yestocarrots.com. I ordered some of their new smoothing lip balms since they hadn't hit the shelves at my local Target yet (now that they have they're usually sold out!). Anyhow, I found a bunch of samples in my box when I opened it. I was very excited. Most of the samples they sent me were things I've already owned, but one of the samples was their eye firming treatment. Now, I'm only 24, so I don't have crows feet or wrinkles around my eyes yet, but I've read and heard that you should start using anti-aging products in your early 20's. Collagen starts breaking down at age 15 for women. The directions say to use it twice a day, so I have been. I really like the scent and how it feels. A very little bit goes a long way. I just dab it around my eye area then blend it into my skin. It absorbs quickly. I haven't noticed a difference, but there's nothing to notice lol. I'm just hoping that this will help prevent my eyes from aging. I've read reviews that older women have written and they say it does help their wrinkles and crows feet disappear.

*You can find it at Target and Walgreens for $19.99.

Goldfish Grahams: Fudge Brownie Review!

In case you haven't noticed, I am in love with goldfish crackers and grahams! lol. They are so good! I wanted to try some different flavors. The Fudge Brownie ones are pretty good. I wouldn't say they're my favorite, but they for sure have chocolate-y goodness! The only grahams so far that I've seen in the big cartons are the S'mores. I'm hoping sometime in the near future they'll do some of the other flavors in the bigger cartons. I would buy the French Toast and Vanilla Cupcake flavors in the big cartons for sure! French Toast seems to be harder to find for some reason (though I just saw online that Target stores carry them now too! Walmart was the only place I saw them before). The Vanilla Cupcake is pretty easy to find. They usually always have them in stock in my local Target.

*You can find the small bags of graham's at Target and Walmart for $1.99.

Reign Review!

I really love this show! I saw the previews before The White Queen ended. I figured it would be a decent trade off since it's around the same era. I also figured it would be a decent trade off since they had only ever planned on doing one season of The White Queen. This show follows Mary, Queen of Scots in 1557 France. I didn't really pay much attention to these kinds of things in school lol. So if there are inaccuracies, I don't notice them. I really enjoy this show. Adelaide Kane plays Mary, Queen of Scots. She is absolutely stunning. She's a great actress too. They're all good actors though, which makes the show even more enjoyable. If you enjoy shows like these, you should give this one a shot!

*You can catch new episodes on the CW on Thursdays at 9/8c.

Hoarding: Buried Alive Review!

This show is pretty good. I've been watching since the first season. They're in their 4th season currently. The show is pretty much how it sounds. It's about people who hoard. Some homes are much, much worse than others. I watched last nights episode. Wow! This woman lived all by herself (her hoarding pushed everyone in her life away). She had things piled so high she could stand on top of it and touch the ceiling. BUT, she couldn't even stand up all the way, she had to hunch down so she wouldn't bump her head on the ceiling. She also had some roomies. Rats. Massive rats. They were huge. They had giant rat holes outside of her house that made tunnels to the inside. There were well over 20 holes. Tons and tons of rats! Everywhere. They weren't scared of people either, so they just ran around on top of her stuff all day long. By the end of the episode, the roomies had moved out. Her house was spotlessly clean! Hopefully she can keep it that way.

*If you're interested, you can catch new episodes on TLC at 10/9c.

NYC Kiss Gloss: Clear As Can-Dy Review!

I really like this one! I think it's my favorite of the 6 I have. The others have a candy/fruity flavor/scent to them, but this one has a minty flavor/scent. City Sorbet, 5th Ave Frosting, Sugar Hill Shimmer, and Jay Walkin Jam all have sparkles and shimmer in them. Clear As Can-Dy and Murray Hill Melon don't have sparkles or shimmer, just glossy looking. It'll be nice to have the option if I want one with shimmer or not lol. These Kiss Glosses are worth looking into! $2.99!

*I found that Walmart has the most variety, seeing as how they carry ALL of the flavors! The Target in my area only carried City Sorbet.

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Mascara Review!

This was one of the products in my #RoseVoxBox (complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes). I like it! The brush is cool. It's not a fiber brush. It's taller on the sides and shorter in the middle. It doesn't clump very much and two coats makes your lashes look beautiful and full. It really does kinda look retro, yet still modern (I suppose depending on your make up choices). This is a brand new product, I haven't seen them in stores in my area yet. They retail for $5.99 (Influenster tells you the value of the products you receive). If this sounds like something you would like, you should check it out. It's a pretty cool mascara!

NYC Big Bold Curl Mascara Review!

I had been wanting to try this mascara and finally bought some the other day! I tried it as soon as I got it home. I've been wanting to experiment a little bit. I'm a Maybelline girl, but I wondered if I switched to NYC would I really notice a big difference? NYC is the cheapest make up I know of, and it's good quality! So there's really no reason not to at least try them out. I honestly didn't notice much of a difference between this mascara and the Maybelline ones I usually buy. Doesn't clump that much. Gives you bigger/longer looking lashes. I really like it. I was paying close to $7 for Maybelline's mascara and I paid $4.50 for this one. I'm thinking switching to NYC will be seamless!

*You can find them at Target and Walmart (although I don't think all Walmart's have them in stores. I know the one in my area doesn't.)

Because I Said So Review!

This movie was on Lifetime today! I love, love, love it! I know it only got a star and a half for it's critique, but there must have been a lot of men rating it lol. It's a great girl movie. Mandy Moore, Lauren Graham, Diane Keaton. Great cast, great acting. It's all about a mother (Diane) who sets up a personal ad for her daughter (Mandy). After interviewing many, many men, she decides an architect named Jason is the perfect fit for her daughter. She sets it up so they meet "accidentally" since she doesn't want her daughter to know she meddled. Another guy she interviewed was a musician, she said absolutely not to him. He swiped one of her daughters cards (she's a chef and does catering) and he met her where she works. At first she thinks she hits it off with both guys, but then she decides only one really makes her feel like herself with him. I won't give away more than that, although this movie did come out in 2007! Ha ha. If you haven't seen it, well what are you waiting for?! It's one of my favorites. You get everything, comedy, drama, etc. It's so flippin good!

NYC Liquid Lip Shine Review!

I heard a lot of people saying they really loved this product. So I decided I wanted to try it too! I really like it! It's a good formula. Doesn't feel heavy, it isn't sticky either. The colors are really pretty. I got Rivington Rose, Brighton Beach Peach, Honey on the Hudson, and Nude York City. They're all flavored the same. They taste and smell like candy. They have 10 colors total. I really want the Big Apple Spice color too. They last a decent amount of time. I also really like the applicator. It's a wand and it has a spongy applicator. I like the shine a lot too, it isn't over the top. Oh, did I mention you can get these at Target or Walmart for $1.98?! I love NYC's line so much! Amazing, good quality make up for an amazing price. Even if you aren't a gloss person, but wanna try it, it's only 2 bucks. So if you end up not liking it, it isn't even that big of a hit to your wallet.

Back Loofah Review!

I purchased a back loofah from Target not too long ago. I love them! They make cleaning your back so much easier! All loofah's were on sale the day I went! Gotta love that! I got my back loofah in blue for only $4.19. I also went ahead and got a regular loofah too for only $2.02! There's nothing really fancy to the back loofah I got, it's just a basic loofah. No wooden handle or anything. The mesh is nice quality. It lathers up my shower gel really well too. I will absolutely be buying it again when I need another!
